How is this jazz? This is hip hop period. Yeah jazz elements but not jazz this is soooooo dope. Jazz is cool too though. Those snares and hats are superb great work a true master of his craft. I mix shit like this too but not this yet this solid my nix.
As a young man. I'm just happy that so many people in my generation fuck with real hip-hop. We grew up in two worlds. Coming out of the tail end of the golden age of hip-hop and being pushed into the mumble rap trap music era. Appreciation for the old school with an understanding that music changes with the passage of time. Loving the old shit without criticizing those who listen to the new age shit. Tupac said it best. Artists had to adapt and start making music about partying and drugs because that's what the people ultimately wanted to hear and that's what makes money.

We went wrong the industry power players decided to go with what was winning and the current culture. Meaning since say The West Coast or the South was winning, the industry players up this way would go run and get a Chingy over a Jinx Da Juvy or a Nelly over a Ali Vegas to save they jobs. And with that came the culture shifts.

Hiphop is the black story, in usa but little did it know it would encape the world to its known excellence brililance and vibe. It is crazy how hiphop black music jazz black music touches a world.. SO even though USA paints blacks as monsters the world who hears the stories feel the energy of the beats of our hearts, understand that not all blacks are bad or toxic that we have beauty, brilliance, talent and an unmatched extraordinary vibration to both Jazz and hiphop, so with the world feeling and knowing that they see us as humans super souls beautiful amazing beings, not like USA America who only wants us dead or below the ground. I thank the world who loves this music, in reality you love us the makers of it! shout out to Hiphop South Bronx NYC USA and all across the globe who too feel the amazing that is black music..b proud to rep such a legacy be proud that you are able to understand and actually love and connect as well.

I miss NYC.
instrumental eater, lyrical connoisseur timeless foundation, sitting with dinosaurs og’s of this boom bap jazz hop respect me cause the vibe gives em nostalgia indirectly talking to their subconscious in a conscious way that longing for the past is satisfied today and magnified, amplified in the rhymes we make you’re magnetized, one time for your mind, replay rewind the tape on that boom box, we’re going back brown buildings and long trains, where the cultures at outdoor courts with no meshes, hooping with the coldest cats where every project’s built on a grid, bump a cul-de-sac graffiti on corner stores, where the dons be humble snowy train tracks in the concrete jungle come winter come, let the hospitality touch me where the coffee shops play tunes and the reality’s lovely
Thanks brother! love from Australia!
