Cuz the main tone of all these beats is 432hz. This frequency is actually connected to the divine being aka our collective consciousness. Nowadays most of the trap and mumbling rap shit you here and other genres as well use 440hz to tune their instruments. It's actually a very sinister frequency that only weakens your consciousness.

The vibe in the 90's was just magical, before social media, before 99% of people even had mobile phones, Before you could google anything, the world was still such a mysterious place, every day was a new adventure, everybody had their own unique style and vibe since nobody was copying what they seen on social media everybody was more creative and less influenced it was so pure, going to a new area or city truly was an adventure you never knew what kind of people you would meet or places you would see, Your homie would give you a tape with new artists you never heard of, you had no idea who it was but it sounded fire, Nowdays with social media, smart phones and google, the world is now so small, that sense of adventure and mystery is no more, most people are sheep, and every city you go to everybody walks talks and looks the same. I feel blessed to have grew up in the 90's, The feeling and vibe was truly something else.

You pretty much summed up what I don't like about living in the current era. Every part world is getting more and more the same, and doesn't feel magical, exciting and mysterious like it used to. I was born in 2003 so it's hard for me to say what life was really like back in the day, but just from comparing the music and other media from now and the 90s it seems like life just had a completely different vibe.

@@tobik.2849 Do you mean right now or all time? Off the top of my head you have a lot of artists who went "mainstream" while staying true to their style and produced hit after hit like 50 cent and Kanye. The difference is that they pioneered entire new eras with innovation that changed the game rather than just re-creating something that already existed like most boom-bap rappers did. 808s & Heartbreak literally changed the entire course of the rap game, and I can't really think of a 90s album that had such an impact. Sure 36 Chambers, Ready to Die, Illmatic and Midnight Marauders were instant classics, but in terms of impact there is not really a competition imo.

You had mainstream hip hop back then too, it was no different than other popular music, and the studios have been dictating to the artists since day one. This is different because it's small independent artists, but you had the same in every genre. The studios only dictate to you when you are big enough for them to pay attention to you. And since back then you only could become famous with a studio contract, it went both ways. Now you can release your own stuff to a wider audience, if you can get anyone to notice you.

SoundCloud has bad rappers, and it’s because people don’t know what good music is because they don’t know where to look, and now you got shit mumble rappers that show nothing, and fake people that’s want to say that they had to sell to get paper, but those are the same people that are looking for clout.

Man back in the late 90's a friend of mine gave me a mixtape he made while in New York, it was like Friday night hip hop thing, with a lot of rare stuff. Unfortunately that tape got ate, and never thought I would ever hear or be able to find any of those songs again. Crazy enough, several of those songs on on this list. Amazing list man!

This whole mix reminds me of working on my uncles Volkswagen in the winter when I was younger. We always use to work on his car in the cold garage listening to his cassette tape boombox. Me and my boy were parting out his Honda last winter in my garage listening to this mix and it brought me back hard to those times with my uncle. Love this mix. Let’s knock and stop worrying about all this bullshit we have today
