Book unhauls are so necessary otherwise there'd be no new books. Finding space is always a problem. I read the first book a Winter's promise in English when starting on fantasy books and I so loved the language, felt like it was literally French in english, the translation was so beautiful. I have very limited French 😅 but it made me feel bolder about trying fantasy and it has been a fantastic experience so far thanks to your channel and others👍.

Exactly! Got to make room for the new books! Yeah I do think the writing in a winters promise was lyrical and beautiful...which just made it a challenge for me as it made me realise how many adjectives there are that I don't know in French

I have books I just can't get into. I hate to admit it because i realize people spend lots of work writing stories but some books just dont work for me. I am pressed to space too. So i totally understand needed to make space. Good video.

I know!! At least I feel like passing these books on means that they could go to someone who enjoys them instead of them sitting unloved on my floorshelf.

ha! my shelf space management is doing abysmally, thank you very much! 😂 funny enough, though.. i’ve been waiting for that blue hardcover for nearly a year. i ordered the four books of the series in, i want to say, may 2023. books 2-4 trickled in, but i’m still waiting for book 1.😢 can’t believe how much your french copy is falling apart. surely something with the glue and/or binding of the book must’ve gone wrong? well, as long as you don’t lose any pages.. 🤞 have a wonderful day, abby, and happy reading! 💜

I feel like that book is lost! How can it still not have made it to you?! I know the glue must have got too hot or cold because this has never happened to me before!

@@AbbySalter sorry, should’ve clarified, it’s still listed as an open order. and when you click on the product page it still says 2-3 weeks delivery. the bookshop has cancelled 2 different orders when they gave up on trying to obtain the books, but this order still stands. don’t know which is worse, waiting for book 1 of a series, or the final book. 😂 by the way, you inspired me and i started reading poison study last night.. suddenly it was 1am 😳

I thought I was alone in not being invested in Fireborne . Maria V Snyder has brought out versions of Poison Study but from his point of view so hopefully that explains the romance which felt really sudden to me . Thanks for sharing your unhaul books

Yes the french "pole fiction" edition are the absolute worst in terms of physical book quality. Avoid them at all cost !
