What a great way to remember your travels! Japan is an amazing place, with amazing people! Her caption "I don't want to leave" is so true! Lived in Japan for two years, even so we only touched the tip of the iceberg of the things we wanted to do and see! Oh how we loved and miss all the wonderful and often amusing vending machines!! Hot Royal Milk Tea on a cold day, perfect! Beef Bowls from Yoshinoya were addictive! They became our Friday movie night staple! Thanks for reviewing this book, her artwork brought back some fun memories!!

Tring thank you for your review. Alessandra has a sauté view looking into a day an a life travelogue. Her precise drawings of the street and her humorous comments of birds was very funny. The toilet very true and her awareness of differences recorded in drawings it truly urban. Tring I like the small stories within the art book. Tring isn’t that is what we sketch for? A snap shot of life and places to remember. Well done. Catch you in the next review. Brenda

Hey there! I just bought my first set of Daniel Smith tubes and I picked out transparent puerile orange since I really liked the color on the dot card and in your artwork as well. But the tube I got gave me more of an extremely vibrant orange instead of the deep red orange with a dark mass tone as was on the dot card. Do you know if they’ve reformulated this paint?

I'll let teoh answer about the formula, but as far as transparent paint goes there is a huge difference when u lay it on thick or thin, try blobing it on, Indian yellow goes from goldorange to daylight just based on how thin u paint it... I'd hate for you to have to buy new colors, but I use Indian (hansa) yellow and quindacrylon magenta, u maybe able to fix your orange color with a quin crimson, the magenta may be too purple and with that orange may neutralize it to a brown, buy a strong quin red

Not sure if they have changed anything. The pigment code is PO71. It should be more reddish. Check out the swatches on Jane Blundell website www.janeblundellart.com/orange-watercolour-swatches.html

Hello Teoh, i was curious to know if you have any tips on speaking in videos? For example i have a hard time expressing my thoughts and putting them into words so i end up pausing for a long time while a lot of thoughts are going through my head. I try to speak slower but my mind thinks too fast and i get to a point where i just stop talking then i forget what i was talking about. If i speak fast then no one understands what im saying and it ends up sounding like a never ending run on sentence. I also have the problem of, if i speak slower so people will understand me, i have to keep chopping my videos up into segments. If i make a review or tutorial that's only 10 minutes, it ends up being 5 segments of 2 minute video. This makes video editing take to long. If im speaking while doing something at the same time then its much more difficult. Just multitasking two tasks of speaking and drawing causes me to lose my thoughts or the ability to express what im thinking. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Just speak at your normal speed will do. The more you practice, the easier it gets. If you deviate from your usual speed, eventually you will still go back to your normal speed anyway. It's inevitable. Talking and drawing is tough. Usually for me, I will narrate over a clip that I've recorded, rather than talk and draw at the same time. BUT again, the more you do it, the easier it gets. Soon you will be able to draw and talk at the same time. Don't think too much about these things. Just keep on making videos. You'll learn and get better.

When drawing people, pay attention to the proportion and placement of the features. Spend more time observing than drawing. When you're drawing, think like this... "Where is this line in relation to that feature that I've already drawn"
