It is a good saying, for this nature points to the fact that we are made in God’s image. That is why the Spirit says that farmers, builders, and clothed-makers are blessed. Those who do these things repeat what God did at the dawn of the world. In the beginning, God constructed the world in 7 days, planted a garden for His creation’s enjoyment, and clothed humanity when they needed it, due to sin. Indeed, God’s caring heart is even more pronounced than that, for He presented the animals to the man for him to name and even gave him a suitable partner, all because the man was too lonely. And if we are the ones God has chosen to bear his image, we should not only do these things but should even allow them to happen. That is what this saying means in the Christian perspective.

There is great debate in church's about this book, it hits hard to those that won't stop their addiction to porn and those who live in fornication with a partner. These two sins dominate the church and the main argument of those who engage in them is that (Jesus blood covers my sin and by you saying I need to stop is saying my sin is greater then his blood, they say I am once saved always saved, and I confess I believe in Jesus and that's all I need.) This book shows them clear as day that this view is a perverted view of God's Grace and it will continue to cause conviction lest their hearts become hard. I pray their eyes are opened.

Hunter Cowart You just said some people don't want to change. God wants to see some effort compared to no effort. With the David example he did some bad stuff, but eventually repented. " Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,”and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” " 2 Timothy 2:19 Christians shouldn't justify any sin that they know of and repetent to God right away. If I had a drinking problem and got drunk, but later repented of it compared to got drunk a died in an accident. We should do the first and not the second. God wants us to dominate sin with his help. We're not perfect, but God will give us time to overcome our personal sins that we may struggle with because we should be growing spirtually throughout our lives by spending time with & letting the Holy Spirit tell us what to do. God hates sin and we should love what God loves and hate what God hates. romans 8:2 " because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death " romans 8:14 " For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace "

Jonathan, when "christians" say things like "once saved always saved is a heresy or perverted view of God's grace" it absolutely astonishes me. First of all, I don't know ANYONE that believe once they are saved, they're free to sin as much as they please. That is ridiculous. If you believe that once the Son justifies you, and you are no longer held guilty in God's court, and then suddenly you can un-justify yourself due to sin, then you are sadly mistaken my friend. Please read John 10:29. If you believe sin can unwash a sinner, you are the one, in fact, perverting God's grace. Are you really going to stand before God and tell him He couldn't save to the uttermost? Are you really going to stand before God and tell Him He couldn't keep all His sheep? Do you know what Double Jeopardy means? It means one cannot be tried for the same crime twice, and if you believe you can lose your salvation, than you believe in double jeopardy. That doesn't fly in human court, you really think it flies in God's perfect court? If you believe that, then God can justify a man, declare him not guilty, than re-charge him/find him guilty for crimes/sins he was previously acquitted from. That is NOT justice. That is not the God of the Bible. How much sense does that make? Now, out of love, I'm going to exhort you to be more careful how you address this issue. I guarantee you that ETERNAL means ETERNAL. The Son gives ETERNAL life, not conditional life. If you believe you can lose salvation, you earned it to begin with, and you are directly against Ephesians 2:8-9. If I get to Heaven one day, and learn I didn't sin away my salvation, well, I think I might be able to boast a little. But clearly, there will be no boasting in Heaven. If you believe you can maintain your salvation by not sinning it away, then my friend, you are working for your salvation and aligning yourself with occult beliefs. Cults believe they maintain their salvation, not Christians. If I've misunderstood you, then I apologize and deeply regret my post. God Bless, and YES, I pray eyes are opened indeed.

Hypernikao Productions Hey I read your entire post, and it has really good observations from the word. Thanks for the response. You misunderstood me a little, I don't believe in works or earning salvation. I read the Bible about once every 2 days for a few chapters or a book (Mostly New testament but recently im into the old testament study) It's clear to me we are made right only by the Blood of Christ and you cannot boast because you didn't do anything towards the saving process. But the other thing that has become more and more clear to me is that God honors our choices. We could talk about the Armani vs Calvin all day and get nowhere so to be simple about what I get from the scriptures and personal conviction from the Holy Spirit is that, on the day of Judgement there will be a vast many who are suprised when Jesus says he never knew them, you who practice sin. In short I believe those people who he never knew are the ones who think they are saved and our actually not, they appear to be because they associate with a church and with other Christians, but they are still lost. He says I "never" knew you so they surrounded themselves with Christ but never let him in. In Jude when he says some are in the church who say we can sin and still be consider a Christ follower, I believe these are the modern day apostates who have sex outside of marriage, watch porn, hold unforgivness inside etc. And when you address them about it (cause I have in a nice way, all I did was point it out and asked how come they still do it in a soft voice and out of concern) they say it's OK I'm saved, I'm not perfect man, I can't leave her, or I want what I want porn makes me happy, etc. The post was to point out how in churches today in America this is being accepted by Pastors and Elders as a genuine doctrine. And on judgement they who are living in these sins believing they have something they don't will be cast into Hell forever and it concerns me.

@@Zulonix my bet is what He said, "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" He said "DOes" the will of His Father. Now I am not an English native speaker, but I am pretty sure "DOes" is a present continuous form of do, which means work.

The “Canon” you might mean didn’t exist until 2nd or you may mean the one from the 5th century hundreds of years after Jesus’ birth. Yes, Jesus himself quoted the book of Enoch and said to those who did not know it, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures.” That’s in Matthew we can all agree if Jesus said it’s the scriptures it’s the scriptures, unlike letters to early churches where even the writer will often explain these are their opinions and not a message form the Lord. One example being when Paul says “he feels…” it was his instruction not as a prophet speaking the words of God, but as a church leader addressing current and localized issues with, in that case, what “he feels” or “ To the rest I say this, I, not the Lord: if…” Yes, the book of Enoch was hidden away with the dead sea scrolls for over 2000 years, it’s a book about demons (The great commission and Mark 16 makes a pretty clear that Christians are supposed to be dealing with those) and the end of time, why on earth would people suddenly be waking up, post World War II, that it’s meant to be scripture too? God’s timing! There are not contradictions that I’ve seen in that book to scripture, but I have seen contradictions in that book with what churches try to push that never was in scripture.

Good Morning! Thank you for diligently doing these videos. They are such a learning tool. I wanted to share. In 2015 while riding in a car I heard the Lord say Jude in my right ear. I didn't know about the book of Jude. When I got home, I walked into the house and grabbed the Bible and immediately found Jude. Validation it was a word from the Lord. I then saw all of the corruption in my church and left. Tried several churches after. To this day, I have not found a church to attend. I truly believe we are in the age of Jude, pre-revelations. Turn back to God and He will heal our land is the message I received that day! Thanks again for your hard work creating these videos. ❤🤍💙

ISAIAH 65 - JUDE “I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, according to their own thoughts.” (Isaiah 65:2) WORDS BY: JESUS "One of the major things that people lack is fear. People fear the wrong things in life instead of the fear that matters. Instead of fearing God, they fear the things of the natural - what they are going to eat, what tomorrow brings, what jobs they want and what life they want to live. The list goes on. To have the true fear of God does not mean living in fear but respect and honour. This comes down to how much you place a value on My words. Do you treat them lightly or as the weight of the universe? For I tell you if you value each word and where it came from, if you truly grasped this, you would be very hesitant doing anything outside My will and if you do so, it would be with utmost conviction. This is what it means to have the fear of God, knowing that one word from Him is enough to create or destroy all creation. Jude warns of such people who do not fear God and walk in a way that is not good according to their own thoughts and ungodly lusts. They will be judged as mockers of My kingdom who treated My words as causal as a game. However, the faithful will be rewarded and increased spiritually. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom because it is the first step of walking in honour. And when you honour who I am and the righteousness I stand for, you will be renewed day by day into My image as Enoch was. The renewal of the mind is very important because the thought life can be the greatest snare to humanity if left unchallenged. Bind yourself with the fruit of love and holiness that you may have a walk worthy of Me fully pleasing Me, being fruitful in every good work. For as long as you stick close to Me, then life will follow you and you will be ready for the end time warfare."

2 Peter 2:15-22 (KJV) 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling [words] of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, [through much] wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog [is] turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. ...the MESSENGERS who leave their coarse...ARE MEN LIKE BALAAM. The STARS. Daniel 12:3 (KJV) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. BALAAM strayed from coarse, becoming a prolific cautionary tale. And so that shinning head of gold, Nebuchadnezzar, shined his light on Who has dominion in the affairs of men, and the nations, and surprise, surprise, it’s not who you’d think based on these traditions of men. Daniel 4:1-3 (KJV) 1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3 How great [are] his signs! and how mighty [are] his wonders! his kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion [is] from generation to generation. Daniel 4:17 (KJV) This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Shalom thank you so much for recognising the importance of the Accient books ,I personally have read some of them and it's like they feel in the missing pieces of the puzzles in the old Testament and I decided to start reading the old Testament from the beginning again because Christ and other Apostles quote from them alot and it's important to know the story behind their quotations. Shalom Aleichem to you all children of Yahweh.

The Book of Enoch is a false book that is full of contradictions. The parts of Enoch that are consistent are already in the canon Bible. Take it from someone who has read parts of these so-called lost books just stick to the 66 Canon. The things that you will read are so bad you will not even be able to finish these books without laughter and/or anger. Fear the LORD and keep the Commandments.

I haven't read much on it .. but this is what I know. By around 100-200 ad, there were a lot of scrolls circulating that claimed to be inspired by God. Church leaders started recognizing this is a problem and decided to make lists of scrolls which were safe to read. After a while most of them agreed on the books that we have now have as the Bible cannon. In choosing a book to be part of the cannon it had to meet certain requirements like 1. Be written by one who was agreed to be a true prophet of God, which was proven by their miracles. 2. Be written by eye witnesses. That's why the book of Judas was discarded, because it was written about 200 years after the death of Judas. 3. Have no historical or factual errors. There is a whole lot more involved but I hope this has helped even a little bit.

And yet the “new covenant” is taught a little different. Jeremiah 31:33-34 (KJV) 33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Why is the Woman of Rev 12 wearing the seal of 12 Stars? Because it’s Torah, and applied on earth among men, IS, Deuteronomy 11:21 (KJV) That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Honest shepherds passing “wine” to the laity. Weird that the wormwood sells the Best. Jeremiah 23:14 (KJV) I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Jeremiah 23:15 (KJV) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. And from there, it only telescopes. Ask the ancients , after all, Rev 12 states the woman is sealed with 12 stars. Daniel 12:3 (KJV) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

  • @stephenscaggs3747

    @stephenscaggs3747

    7 жыл бұрын

The same reason many today do not follow him after his resurrection. I realize that is a vague answer, but there really is no one universal reason why many refuse to follow Jesus. Jesus himself depicted four different kinds of minds (Luke 8:5-8); his purpose was not to enforce a statistic (i.e. it's not that only 25% will obey Jesus), but rather to show us that different factors keep the seed from taking root. In the Synoptic gospels, they sought Jesus to take him home (presumably because they thought he had lost his mind [see Mark 3:21] or that he was embarrassing their family name). Perhaps the most infamous account of their unbelief is in John 7:1-10. The text implies that his brothers wanted him to die (i.e. by going back to Judea). We read, "Not even his brothers believed in him." (7:5). Perhaps they did not believe out of resentment ("He's mother's favorite child!"), bitterness ("He's bringing reproach on our family name"), or envy (the same reason the Jewish leaders killed Jesus; see Mark 15:10). The saying is often true, "Familiarity breeds contempt." We do not see them as believers until after the resurrection as believers (Acts 1:14).

Right people want their private interpretation apart from the inspired word of God and end up rejecting truly inspired text but all is needed is to seek the truth and would find they really don't contradict God's word just our own fallen carnal understanding that simply needs to be transformed by the renewing of our mind by the truth of God in the heart and his Spirit. No doubt Enoch was and is a holy prophet inspired by God as scripture testifies. God Bless

  • @AS-ft4nc

@@philadelphiyahhsmyrna0 Even though 1 Enoch is not canonical, it inspired Jude to include a passage which we cannot not find in Genesis. In the story of a Bible scholar named Michael Heiser, he encountered people who are not comfortable with strange passages of the Bible. This is why he wrote many books in order to disprove modern interpretations and commit ourselves to the Bible text. The Bible today is not a complete book. The story continues on and is written by ancient people who were inspired by God. But it is not a given as a rule book that is dropped down from the skies but as a book that tells us our physical and spiritual purpose to walk with God.

It is an apocripha book. But the Bible Project made a mistake in thinking that Jude was quoting it. Jude was just referring to the book in the Bible.

+kevfoda It is your assumption that they made a mistake. The similarity between the two passages show that Jude is loosely paraphrasing the work and attributing it to the evil people in his day. "Enoch prophesied... saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him" (Jude 1:14-15). "Enoch said... Behold, he will arrive with ten million of the holy ones in order to execute judgment upon all. He will destroy the wicked ones and censure all flesh on account of everything that they have done, that which the sinners and the wicked ones committed against him." (1 Enoch 1:3-9). Again, quoting something does not validate something as inspired. Paul quoted from pagan poets, but God didn't inspire pagan poets.

Stephen Scaggs It is a mistake to think that because Bible inspired writers copied certain parts of apocrypha books that we need to regard anything else that these books have written. The Biblical writers might have used the same words but that does not mean that anything else from those books is validated. If Jude quoted those words we should only focus on those words in the context of the Bible. If Paul quoted those poets we should only focus on the part that he quoted to derive any truth. The focus should be on Jude and not on Enoch. The focus should be on Paul and not on pagan poets.

I agree with you. When I watched the video, my impression was not that they were condoning First Enoch as inspired by God. It's just as if I were to read something secular like the Iliad and the Odyssey, which would give you rich insights into how the Greeks viewed their gods and would help you understand Jesus comments regarding pagans in his sermon on the mount (Matt. 6:5-6). I don't see the Book of Enoch as inspired, but I can read it as something secular and perhaps gain perspective on other things.

Stephen Scaggs Exactly. I think in today's world a lot of people do not know the Bible and they desperately need it but we cannot get it mixed with other books and text but we can use these other texts to give us context.

stop referring to 1 Enoch and Genesis 6 as an interpretation of the Sethite theory which is totally flawed
