Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians reassures me that whatever happens, whether or not the wicked one appears sooner or later, we all need to continue to do our work through faith in God and Jesus The Messiah. Prophecy will unfold and the end of the world will come but worrying about it and instilling fear in the minds of the people will only bring havoc. We're at dark times because of the pandemic but it doesn't mean that we must panic. In the end, we have to live our lives by following Jesus and trusting in God no matter what happens; let the Holy Spirit guide our lives regardless of the coming changes in the world system.

My favorite part was when you said that the end times part was about hope not speculation, because everyone says different things and it can be confusing. I think the bible has a simplistic view of the end times, which is healthy😉good job thx

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. this verse... wow

In chapter 2 verse 3 says the following: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" 2 Thessalonians 2:3 It clearly says that Jesus return and our gathering together with Him happens after the Antichrist is revealed. So why is mainstream Christianity promoting the idea that the Rapture comes before the Antichrist appears?

@@LUX_8 Of course it does, but the prophecies in Daniel, the Olivet Discourse, Revelation, etc... were specifically for that generation of Israel and their adultery. It was the end of the Old Covenant and the beginning of the New.

Because the "Day of the Lord" is the end. It has nothing to do with the rapture. Why would the thessalonians think they had missed the day of the Lord? That's the end, you don't "miss" the judgment and destruction of the world. They thought they had missed the harpazo, the Rapture.

Your videos would be great curriculum for public school history class.

Paul saying "That's not what I meant" seems to be a running theme in the New Testament.

I’m glad u pointed out that he wasn’t talking to a future audience that he was talking to them when referring to the evil man who would come 1st b4 the return of Jesus

I do agree that there are so many diff understandings on this and prophecy and his return. Not everyone of us will be right, and maybe most of us got it wrong.... But whether you believe in Pre trib. Mid Trib. Post trib. Or No Trib. What is the Paramount belief should be is have you Believed in The Only Begotten Son and Trusted in him. Is Your name Written in The lambs Book of Life. Be Ready. Be Watchful. And When He does return will You Go with Him or Be Left Behind...

I think 2 Thessalonians 1-5 makes it clear that there has to be a falling away first and the antichrist has to be revealed first, before we will be gathered together with God. 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

@Brandon Humbertson - these “ teachings “ are really commentaries. You are correct that Satan will appear first before the return of Christ. Also I don’t see all of your post so just in case.... there is no rapture
