Good for the price.. 88 keys at that price point, textured and semi weighted is a bargain. I opted for the Casio CDPS100 because of feel of the keyboard and the weight of the keys.. it cost a bit more but I'm happy with my purchase.. the feel of the keys is more important than the sound engine if your a beginner, in my opinion.. Great boogie by the way.

Sounds pretty reasonable for an entry level keyboard , probably the deep bass notes that set it apart from something pricier ?? If its anything like the stand I had on my first keyboard it may wobble a bit if you get a bit over enthusiastic with a left hand boogie . Its not a proper trial though , because you can make anything sound good !!!

@Simon Cogan the last part made me smile lots 😁😁😁 thank you ☺️ it’s not bad at all is it 😀 I agree re the bass notes 👍🏿 the stand is really excellent, definitely the best one I’ve ever used …. I did manage to get it to dance 💃 a little bit though 😆😆😆 you can’t beat boogie woogie for giving a stand a thorough testing 🤣

I'm a keyboard gear enthusiast and i have checked out donner before. they have great prices vs the big manufacturers. this piano sounds perfect for stride/honky tonk. did you record the sound from the speakers? (i hope so. if that was direct in, i would have an issue with how it sounds). congrats on the partnering with donner.

@jj rusy yes their prices are excellent aren’t they , I was very surprised when I checked them out . I recorded this using my iphone 13 pro max from overhead as always 😊 so just the phones camera and it’s inbuilt microphone recording the sound of the pianos speakers 😊 thanks for the congrats 😀 I am pretty pleased ❤️

Wow you know you made it as a KZreadr when you get spons, Also about £250 not a lot of money for an 88 key keyboard and with MIDI built in. I love my Technics but at the time new was £1300 I got it for £120 from a vicar (long story) daylight robery almost lol anyway for a starter keyboard with the mod-cons can't ask for much more. Oh and nice playing to :D

@@boogiewoogieandbluespiano Dude I wish the vicar did play boogie he used it on mostly the pipe organ sound, nice guy but my mum is such a haggler she got him down to £120 think he wanted at least £200 but my god I got a good deal, no pun intended "maybe" Only thing it's pretty heavy so when I went to gigs it was a bit of a bugger. And hey maybe with this keyboard you can do some MIDI files and get that program that flash up the keys. One thing at a time.

@@woogieman007 haha the pipe organ sound 🤣🤣🤣 phew 😅 now the picture in my mind is correct 😆 My god it’s heavy 🤣🤣🤣 why is there no God emoji ? 😆 I actually have 2 digital pianos already ( so 3 now ) and both have midi but I prefer my acoustic ❤️ I did consider the lightning up keys program , Arthur uses it now too in his livestreams…Arthur Migliazza, have you heard of him ? 🤣🤣 anyway , back on track , one of the digitals is in the same room as my acoustic and my overhead set up , so I could but ….. the keys 🎹 have yellowed 🙈 sounds a silly reason now I read it back LOL 😂

Your first midi light flashing program video could be Yellow by Coldplay OR Yellow Submarine - Beatles. Id love to do videos with the software but I don't think my keybo has the right port :(

Fantastic playing, absolutely garbage keyboard, had it 9 months and rubber contacts inside keys perished. Playing it like you do it's gonna last about a week😄👍

Just got round to trying to fix this, bought some similar rubber contacts, put them in, now most keys work okay but several play note as you release the key which is annoying. It's simple, I will never ever waste money on this Chinese junk again and buy a branded one like Yamaha or Casio, Roland etc. This has been a life lesson, buy cheap buy twice. 🙂👍

I should have done that and got money back but because I'm stubborn and foolish I wanted to fix it myself. Unfortunately spares are none existent and the closest contact strip I found is not perfect. I have replaced them with the most similar I can find and unfortunately now it's super intermittent with keys randomly malfunctioning which makes it awful to play. I've had Casio's and Yamaha from the 80s and 90s that still work perfectly with NO replacement parts but this one has such poor quality rubber strips I'm not surprised it failed, literally thinner than a hair on the parts that are expected to flex millions of times. I've decided, it's going to a charity shop and I'm buying a Casio, roland or a Yamaha next time and making sure if it fails under warranty to send it back. 👍😎
