Well, in case if anyone had suspicion about plagiarism--there is none, because all of these songs(except of Heaven is a place on earth) were written by a very talented Desmond Child, so he is the one who allowed Bon Jovi to sample from Bonnie Tyler , and decades later Ava Max got his permission as well. Desmond Child is an amazing composer , he also wrote for so many other great artists and bands such as KISS, Cher, Alice Cooper, Barbra Streisand, Meat Loaf, Ricky Martin, Mika, Aerosmith, Scorpions, and many many more, you name it…

You Give Love a Bad Name" was originally written for Bonnie Tyler under the title "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)" with different lyrics. Dissatisfied with the song and Bonnie Tyler’s success in the US and the UK, Desmond Child re-wrote the song with Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. And it became a number 1 hit and hugely popular song amongst loads of other Bon Jovi songs.

Je suis parfaitement d’accord avec toi c’est cette chanson qui m’a permis de mieux la connaître. Je connaissais son single le plus populaire à savoir Total Eclipse of the heart mais je n’y prêtais pas plus attention que ça. Mais cette chanson est tellement bien que je l’écoute en boucle tous les jours.
