A mandolin has 8 steel strings groups in pairs……a ukele has 4 nylon strings (historically made from cat guts) like a classical guitar. Also mando has a bigger resonator than uke…… This instrument has the bigger body of mando with the strings of a uke.

Thanks for checking this little gem of a cover. There is something so special about watching a few mates playing together when it just all comes together for those special moments in time. It will remain a very firm favourite. It always makes me smile. Such a pearl that little lead break from Romain. He is also a chameleon playing any style of guitar from jazz - hip hop but his French background comes to the fore in his own covers and originals check out his channel one of these days. Love to hear you playing your guitar🙏🏽♥️

There are a couple of Big Push covers that I prefer immensely over the originals. This is one of them! I'm not sure that Romaine is playing a uke or a mandolin, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. BTW, Romaine and Gorran also do solo work, and both have KZread channels. I'm nor sure how active Gorran is, but Romaine is, and has put up a couple of songs recently. Definitely worth a listen. I don’t know why all reactors skip on The Big Push’s song called Dignity😢 I mean it’s not about crazy high techniqued vocal, mad guitar skills or complicated melody, but some songs can just touch and squeeze your heart with their brilliant simplicities, and Dignity is definitely one of those. @@michaelgoyettemusic It just reminds me much of San Francisco by Scott Mckenzie if you know abt that one. (Side note: if you've never heard of Streetlight Manifesto, you should rectify that immediately. Saw them live last year - fantastic band. Start with "We Will Fall Together and go on down the rabbit hole, my good sir. You will not be disappointed.) I am loving Ren and the Big Push. 6:37 it's also a killer arrangement, well plotted and crafted. Just before the repetition of a phrase gets too easy to predict, there is a change in lead, harmonising, sound quality, volume, let alone the French part, which the original provides. As the chord progression is simple and can get boring quickly, the song's charm always lies in its execution and the artistic choices of each musician.

Thanks for checking this little gem of a cover. There is something so special about watching a few mates playing together when it just all comes together for those special moments in time. It will remain a very firm favourite. It always makes me smile. Such a pearl that little lead break from Romain.
