Bones of the Skeleton

Corrections:
-There are only 7 cervical vertebrae (although there are 8 pairs of cervical nerves!).
-There are actually 7 true ribs and 5 false ribs (2 of which are "floating").
^Thanks to A&P teacher Megan Lane for pointing out these corrections!
-The calcaneus is mislabeled in the diagram. It's pointing to the talus bone; the calcaneus is hidden behind the talus in this diagram.
^Thanks to A&P teacher Daniel Rachiele and his class for pointing this out!

I was always taught through multiple courses that there are 7 pairs of true ribs, 5 pairs of false ribs, of which two pairs are the floating ribs. The whiteboard image also states there are 8 cervical vertebrae, however the cervical vertebrae terminate at c7 where the vertebra prominens can be palpated. I like the enthusiasm of your teaching style. Most lectures are typically very dry.
