Bone Game (Sla-Hal)

The Bone Game/Stick Game (Sla-Hal)
An ancient, complex, and highly structured Native American ritual.
The game is played between two teams of equal size with a minimum of five persons.
The ritual is a contest of spirit focused within a gambling game,
the essential purpose of which is to help players touch, develop,
and make explicitly useful their deepest human potential.

It's so awesome to see that the real North Americans still exist. So much suffering, but your peoples have survived and they are getting stronger every day.

Mom knows these people. They played this at Cultass Lake festivals and Seabird festivals. Natives from the states and Canada played. As kids they tossed U.S. dollar coins so we could find them as they were playing. This game was important to the way we governed ourselves. Same with war canoe races. Natives solved problems in a way as not to war with each other.
