As someone who lost everything in a fire we were able to get everyone out including our dog. The feelings that run through you are mind blowing. Thank you Alex for your kindness and caring for the physical and mental health of you patients. This one hit close to home and I'm so glad Hennie is ok. ❤🙂👍🐕

Tears of joy, wrecked my make up, watching Henry being reunited with her family! Whew I'm still emotional! I loved what Dr Alex said at the end, that they were all so determined that the family wasn't going to lose their dog too!!! What a happy ending, in this regard, for the family!!!

I'm so glad Henry made it. I'm not sure my heart could take it if she hadn't. I saw the videos you did on Bondi Vet with the koalas that were burned in the wildfires. I've sent the last 2-1/2 months in lockdown in the U.S. Bondi Vet and Animal Planet has saved my sanity. I will add you to my list of saviors. Bless you, for the work you do.

At the end of first part, I thought she was going to pass away. Considering what she has been through and the quick and professional work that you've done to help her. I am really glad though that you had the conversation with the owners about the realities of such injuries. I have seen when people are so desperate to keep their pets alive that sometimes that can overshadow what's best for an animal, when sometimes it's better to make difficult decisions. Too many times I have seen where ethically, I didn't agree with a cat being kept alive after being hit by a car with eyes popped out, broken jaw, etc. I am so glad for Henry and for her family. This just warms my heart... yes makes me cry. With all they've been through I'm so glad that you were there, and able to give them back the gift of their pupper.🐶 Great job! Lots of love❤from Canada 🇨🇦

Oh, well done team Dr. Alex! I was a bit worried at the beginning that Henry was unresponsive. So glad to see she improved enough to go home. I know that it's probably been a little while since this occurred, but if Henry is that traumatized (and who wouldn't be?) she might benefit from a session or two from an animal communicator. Blessings on you all for your heart and your hard work.

Im always so affected by things that happen to animals- ALOT more then things that happen to ppl, for some reason. I mean, i figure theres just too many people on this earth nowadays. So much so that we are killing off everything else. But i HATE to see animals hurting

00:40 NOISY room. Fortunately, the dog doesn't react when Dr. Alex checks in on her. If I'd been that dog, I'd have come up snarling and biting. How can this poor dog rest in such a noisy environment? And this is nit picky, but I find it annoying when Dr. Alex ends her sentences as if she was asking a question. I'm glad Henri made it.

What the heck is all that beeping while the dog is in the cage? The vet says she’s not interacting when she’s in the cage. Anyone can see she’s exhausted and can’t sleep. They need a better facility where the animals can rest away from all that activity. I was shocked at how much noise they are expected to tolerate! What a fundamental thing which seems to be completely overlooked.

Ideally, yes. But it's similar to a human hospital; noise is pretty much inevitable, and that's part of the reason why she was sent home as soon as possible, she can rest better there. To have a completely separate area would drastically increase the costs. Plus, many of those noises were the machines keeping these very sick animals alive.
