Poor Henrietta, I can't wait for part two.
Bless her heart!
When the screen went dark and then you show her walking the next morning, I sat here and kept saying- "Yaaaay - Yaaaay- Yaaaay!!!" 🎉🎉🎉🤗🤗🤗
Beautiful story, brought tears to my eyes. Best wishes to Henry and her family. Thanks for this video.
Prayers for Henry. Poor baby. I hope that Henry and his family pull through this tragedy. God be with them 🙏

Everything like treating humans is done in segments with tests done firstly and the top treatments needed then from there they do what other treatments are necessary. So people may think that they are all talking and Henry isn’t being treated, but from someone that has worked in an emergency ward everything is being done in a controlled way without you seeing all the bloods and other tests being done.

Thank you for sharing from your experiences. I often wondered why it looked like the animals were suffering while the vets were talking to the camera.

Dr. alex i love you ! You are amazing ❣️
Poor baby! Such a cute dog!
God bless- poor beby diggie🙏🏼💘
Thank you 🙏
This made me so sad. Our dog is having some tummy troubles right now and I’m hoping it’s not pancreatitis. And if it is that it’s mild enough that it goes away without any lasting damage.
Love the show but please adjust opening audio. Music way to loud can’t hear vets voices. Thanks
Where’s part two?

I can't believe she re-capped that syringe.....

You always, always, ALWAYS re-cap sharps--even if it's going into a sharps vessel for disposal, afterwards--obviously, it's never going to be re-used. It's a safety measure. No medico wants an accidental stick from a used syringe, no matter from what source--a pet, human patient, or even from one's own body. Infection-risk is too great and safety-procedures are just ingrained so deep in medical personnel that it's almost instinctive. :-) I'm speaking as one who must have blood drawn every couple of months to monitor my kidney and liver function due to meds I have to take, and the self-administered bi-monthly shots I take for two of those meds as well (for near-daily migraine pain management and hormone replacement therapy).

@@DrachenGothik666 I work with needles on a daily basis. Recaping needles is the number one cause of needle sticks. You discard them strait into a sharps bin. I identified that behavior because it is NOT safe. The boxes that needles come in literally say "Do not recap needles after use".

ikr. As an retired OR tech, we would flunk all newbies for that.

@@cheea5 Yes and the newer made needles come with a safety guard so there are no accidental sticks, just click and toss into sharps containers

@@rosannacasella774 Are you talking about vanish point needles? Because those weren't them.
Carbon dioxide is in the dog’s lungs 🫁 and blood 🩸
You want to give a thumbs Up cause you like the show, but want to give a thumbs Down cause you hate what happened to Henry (weird name for a girl dog) lol
Looks like it took the vet a while to start treating the dog... She was talking and talking and talking to the camera while the dog was there in pain... What the heck.

The vet tells the tech what to do. The tech will give meds and oxygen. The dog did not go untreated long.
Please help the dog, then talk.

The video is edited. You only see the highlights. They probably gave the dog meds and were waiting for them to kick in. So why wouldn't they talk for the camera while they're waiting?

are you assuming they didn't do stuff off-camera?
This segment ended, and they _still_ hadn't put her on IV fluids? The doctor said she was going to ... I guess she forgot?

Don't you hate that they talk to the camera saying what they're going to do rather than work & talk?

So you really think they showed every second of the treatment in this 8 minute clip? Of course not! They did everything they could for the dog in that moment and are probably waiting for the results/x-ray machine to be prepared/meds and are talking to the camera while waiting for all this. Quick to judge, are we?

Cherly64014, At first I had similar thoughts. I had to talk myself through it, though. I’ll share my thoughts. A doc/vet has many responsibilities and many levels of responsibility. She or he examines, makes an initial diagnosis, orders tests, reads test results and modifies the diagnosis, directs and manages treatment, observes the patient’s response to the treatment, etc. Also, a lot goes on at the hands of assistants and nurses. There can be moments of down time for the vet/doc to talk to family or even the camera. Also, (just a thought) I’m wondering if maybe the show’s producers might sometimes cheat a bit and wait until the patient is stable, then have the vet slip back in and pretend they are talking to us at an earlier point in the treatment.

They do the work. Then they talk. Remember this is filmed way on advance and edited. It's the same with any other competition show where we are seeing the competition a play out in order but we get the contestants different our interviews in between segments. They are interviewed after the event is over and everything is edited
Geesh...the music is so loud you can’t hear the words...don’t you check these episodes for sound etc before you air them????
I dislike the video because it has no ending. That's terrible. I want to know the poor dog us alright!
