39:05 Back watching this again and I can't stop laughing over how Hoss and Little Joe just DITCH Adam in the middle of his song and slowly back away from him. So funny.

I love the look on Adam’s face when Abigail places her hands on his shoulders. It is priceless!!

This is such a funny episode! I love the interactions between Joe and Hoss, Joe tossing Hoss the pancake and Hoss catching it on his fork! XD

Hilarious episode. These guys had such amazing chemistry. That was a swimming pool, not a mud puddle.😂

Wow. I just love all of Pernell Roberts's talents!! He was very handsome, he was an excellent actor, and he was an excellent singer!!!! I had no idea before this episode that he was such a great singer!!!! This was a fun episode. 🙂

I think the best Bonanza episode I've seen so far would be "The Honour of Cochise." Now THAT one was DEEP (and based on real history). I also liked the one about Sam Hill.

Even through his nose Vaughn was brilliant 🤣

Love it! oh and Adam. so cool and that voice. I remember this song. Just beautiful. Funny. Little Joes cheeky laugh...Oh my God.. Miss these gentlemen!

Omg. I'm watching this at 2:44am, I'm glad I live alone. Round 22:45 and up I was in stitches, Joe's laugh is so contagious and Adam's facial expressions tho.

Watch "the wish" interesting episode Hoss did ok.

I have discovered Bonanza recently and it's the best thing that has happened in my life. We never had TV all those years ago. I am so glad these episodes are available on KZread. Only feel strange that all the wonderful people playing the roles of father and sons are no more.

Thought I was the only one, gave up TV completely, my bed with the boys have become my best friend all over again. It is so funny little Joe!!!! SMH. May they all rest in peace.

How cute was that. I spit my coffee out in laughter when Little Joe and Hoss said, Abigail! And the look on their faces. Priceless.

Love love love this episode‼️ It’s so funny and entertaining. No one got killed, beaten or unjustly jailed. Adam was handsome and smart. Hoss was sweet and funny. GREAT episode.👍

It was funny

At 38:08 Hoss's face, almost falling for his own brother😂🤣 this episode was too funny. I remember watching this episode years ago with my mom, had us both in laughing in stiches at the end.

Oh, the great Vaughn Monroe - beloved singer of the war years, and who ever could forget his song that ends..."when the lights go one all over the world.?" Here he is allowing folks to make fun of him over his famed (and loved) nasal tones! This is truly one of the finest episodes, and It shows Mr. Monroe as a great and generous man. You know, I'm sure that no one dubbed Pernell's voice, who is also a fine singer as well as a skilled actor and a insanely handsome man! This was an early episode.

Joe falling down the stairs as Hoss starts bellowing will never not be hysterical. "we want him to serenade the girl, not warn her of a coming attack." it's too much.

Love these comedies; they're the best.

This was a very funny episode, loved it! Grew up with this show, I watched it a few times but now I’m older I love it, because I understand things differently now! I grew up with all these shows, now I’m showing how old this old hippie is, we had the music, we had the tv shows, we had family time, times have changed, I loved the simplicity of those days, this takes me back.

Approx. 20:00 minutes in - Adam : " Well....I have to go now... I'd better get back to the ranch - something's come up !" then that little 'halting step ', as he hurries to his horse, and gallops off.....BEST 'Adam line' in the WHOLE series !!!!! LOL

Hàhahaha great show. Loved the end she said, " step aside Jezebel. Get back daughters of Sodem" hahaha 😄😄😄 Another fine lesson, be yourself, be honest and you will be appreciated by the right person for who you are! And another thing I liked his voice, very soothing. 😆😆💖💖🐴🐴

Now, how do you like that? Not one gunfight, not one person killed, and Adam gave us a big smile. I liked Hank's singing. Yes, Adam had a better voice but was so polished. Hank's down-to-earth style suited me just fine.

Just watched this episode yet again all though have Season 1 to 6 (the Adam years) on DVD. Really enjoyed it, one of their very best.

my all-time favorite as an 8-year old kid. This series, along with Lancer, High Chaparral and Custer were my training ground in learning English at an early age. Pure nostalgia. Sure brings back a lot of good childhood memories.

This was an amazing episode indeed, and when a gent sings it's like nothing else. These two gent's really bellowed out the melodies and wooed the beauties. So much fun. They don't make shows like this, ever only in the days of creative sitcoms like Bonanza.

So you know, "Bonanza" wasn't a sitcom.

Vaughn Monroe had sung many hit songs, including some huge #1s, years before. He must have had a wonderful sense of humor about the whole "singing through the nose" routine, owing to his very distinctive voice. Nice to see him! Plus, there was character actress Norma Varden as Abigail's mother. By the way, the picture quality is superb. Thanks - and what a treat!

I remember this episode from watching as a teenager. Never forgot the "mud" idea and the serenading. Such a great episode -- positively priceless !

I just started watching this show (38yr old) and love the Adam centric episodes the best! I wish I would of been up on this show as a kid, I would of enjoyed it after a few episodes of the Brady bunch.

Too funny about Hoss singing and Little Joe falling. I love the way Hank is singing. He reminds me Roy Rogers singing while riding on his horse.

This is a very very funny episode.

And he use to sing in real life too. Yay Adam

This is one of my favorite scenes. The only thing I don't like is Joe's laughing. It don't even sound real. Sounds like he's trying to lay eggs. But Hoss's laugh sounds real and not fake.

The hardest part must have been for Vaughn Monroe, trying not to laugh ha ha ha

Bonanza is one of the movies which always surprise me. Most of the times it ends very positives
