Love your reviews, I am wondering if you've ever tried a Vibe Sea Ghost , and you opinion of them. I am currently looking at one for a decent price , is why I ask.

I have the ss127 and my wife has the ss107. Awesome kayaks. We cant compare them to any other kayaks. First time kayak owners.

Does the 10.7 have the room (pad) to put a motor on the back like the 12 foot?

Pads are missing from under the junk drawer area, gear tracks are shorter in the cockpit, and gear tracks are missing from the tank well area compared to the 127. Love my SS107 amazing kayak!

But how do they "buck the wind" comparetively and ss127 alone? I have heard complaints about it only with wind. I just need to know if they just need to man up or is it as difficult as some make it seem. Thanks

Hey Chad: Not everyone expects a shorter kayak to sell for a lower price. I would have paid as much (as the 127) for the 107 if the 107 had kept the features. Kinda like clothes (I buy a smaller size because it fits me, but that doesn't entitle me to save money).

Larry Moffatt then buy the boat and pay for the additional features. That’s how this kayak is positioned. You can still buy the junk drawer and other features is you want. In the kayak industry that’s pretty standard.

I'm looking for a second kayak for when my buddies go with me. I would also use it at times as well. What would you suggest for me? Right now my main kayak is a hobie PA 14. Mostly fish lakes small to mid sized lakes. Think the 107 would make a great addition to my fleet?

I love my ss107. I’m 6’10” and around 275 and it’s shocking how well I fit on it. I do small rivers so I opted for the 107 instead of the 127. I can stand but unfortunately can’t stand and fish simply because of how large I am lol.

Thanks Chad I am trying to find somewhere near MT where I can buy the kayak I want the SS127 is exactly what I want. Q: I am 320lb and handicap is there any suggestions that may help me reach my goal of becoming a pro bass fisherman?

Is there much difference in stability Chad. I have a 127 but I’m only 5’5”. So I thought maybe the 107 might be better for me I’m sure it’s lighter

They are pretty close to the same stability. It’s not that much lighter and the extra pounds are definitely worth it in my opinion.
