They DON'T appoint there own judges. They NOMINATE them and they are CONFIRMED by the Senate. The REAL problem is that republicans have fallen in line behind this jerk to do his bidding, including confirming those judges as well as acquitting him in the Senate for two impeachments when the proof was there to clearly support conviction. Republicans are slime. All they care about is their power, and if that means supporting an anti-democratic fraud and criminal authoritarian wannabe, than so be it. As long as they are in power, the hell with the rule of law and the hell with our democratic republic and the constitution on which it is predicated.

You do realize that the loony party is running the House right now, don't you? The House is the only body that can impeach her. Do you think republicans are going to vote to impeach her? Not only that, but the Senate requires a 2/3 majority to convict her. Republicans wouldn't convict the Orange Lie Monster and he was clearly proven guilty both times he was impeached. They aren't going to vote to convict the judge who is protecting him from prison now.

Me too. When I met my husband in the 80’s he was republican. Told him what I thought of the party and what it was capable of. My prediction came true. Luckily he was a never trumper and in 2020 switched parties.
