As a Bolton girl, I’m so glad you said it. Looking up in bolton, a lot of the buildings are beautiful. The town is soulless and unfortunately the council put no money in to it and when they do it’s always on the stupidest thing. Like the archway to Bolton, that’s a one way road out of town 🙄 It does make me so sad.

Anna, thank you for your comment on this video about the town of Bolton. Yes, I completely agree with you, since I know this town and many people living in it well. And yes, although recently there has been a lot of construction and reconstruction of old buildings and commercial properties in Bolton, as well as repair and reconstruction of roads, this town still remains gloomy, depressive and soulless in my opinion. It also looks more like a new Pakistani or Indian town than a traditional British town with its rich historical heritage. I don’t know how it happened, but over the past 35-40 years, a beautiful British town has turned into a dirty, soulless and styleless Asian town with mosques, a lot of garbage and dumps right on the streets. The town council consists mainly of Asian foreigners and therefore does nothing good for the development and improvement of the British town and its population. It's really sad.

Bolton Town Hall is almost identical to Portsmouth Guildhall and it's so weird to see it set in completely different surroundings.😀

Bolton Town Hall was actually modelled on Leeds Town Hall and is a somewhat smaller version of it.
