@@adhominem_ check Necros Christos "Domedon Doxomedon". It'll blow you away. Also anything by Hail of Bullets, the closest there is to Bolt Thrower...

Lucky you. The first track you ever hear is an absolute masterpiece.

Had an old Asian punk rocker line cook convince me to listen to bolt thrower 12 years ago and couldn't have been happier.

Was that on the tour with Necrophagist? I saw them in Groningen NL and it was more than I could've hoped for. With every stage diver the singer would go "INCOMING!" 😂 Bloody hell what a show

No. It was supposed to be with Gorefest (another band which i love), but for some reason Bolt Thrower wanted to finish the tour with another band. Because of this i failed to ever see Gorefest live. If iirc Gorefest was replaced with Omnium Gatherun of some other finnish band. It could be that Omnium Gatherum wasn't the original band to replace Gorefest but they accepted because the other band's instrument were loaded to a wrong plane? It's been so long that im not 100% sure of this, but maybe Necrophagist was the original band to play with Bolt Thrower? Maybe someone in Finland remembers? :D@@wildmanfisher

@@6perkele6 shame you never got to see Gorefest. As a Dutchman I had the pleasure a bunch of times. Not all of the shows were fantastic but that was because I never got into their albums like Chapter 13. I saw them for the first time in 1994 for their False album and that was incredible, on par with a Bolt Thrower show and that is high praise

This album (Those Once Loyal) is on point from start to finish

The Greatest show I was ever at! 2015, Caught Karl's Tank top HUMILIATION band shirt, have it to this day on my wall! Hail the Mighty Bolt Thrower!

I've never heard this song before and I found your video and thought "Hey why not watch it and react to it for the first time with this person?" and I've got one thing to say : HOLY SHIT that was awesome and really brutal everything about it was amazing. Sick vocals, sick guitar riffs, sick solo, sick bass and sick drums. Bolth thrower never fails to deliver awesome music !!! By the way the video was really nice !

If it feels like you been steamrolled by a Tankdivision you have listend to Bolt Thrower!

I just stumbled on this. And I really like the way you do your video. Others stop every few seconds and talk. You take in the song and then give your reaction/ opinion this was way more enjoyable for me. And yes Bolt Thrower was and is still one of the best old school death metal out there. Enjoy the wave of music then react.

A couple of former Bolt Thrower members (including this vocalist) put out my AOTY last year under the name: Memoriam. Album: Requiem for Mankind. Solid from beginning to end but maybe check out the track "Refuse to Be Led".

My all time favorite death metal band! Earned my sub with this one! You know the riff is good when you make the stank face like the one at 4:19

I don't really care for death metal, but Bolt Thrower has the groove I need. I'm more of a stoner rock - Fu Manchu, Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Greenleaf kinda' guy, but again, These guys have it down.

All of their song are about warfare. Glorious.

Yes! Liked before I even watched it. Epic band, great song. Karl Willets has such an awesome voice, big, roaring and yet you can hear every word. Check out Memoriam, especially the latest album. He still sounds as good even now!

Hi Ruben, I'm really happy you have finally seen Bolt Thrower, awesome band possibly try Cenotauph by them next dude. Then another band you should be "ashamed" to have missed man. :)... Pestilence, Dutch death metal masters.. Please try Presence of the Dead .. I am confident you will appreciate your countrymens music man.. :)

This is my favorite type of metal, save the vocals. Everything sounds and feels played for real. Not like so much modern stuff. I know you love that too, Ruben. It's cool. I'm not one to judge others taste in music. Fucking rad tune! Love the channel.

I like how today we send a squadron of tanks with infantry and it does a good job but back in the day they just went; send 800 tanks and wreck everything. I don't care if you hit one of ours just shoot anything that moves and if the crew bails out then shoot them as well, theirs and ours.
