The Sarawak government will hold a Chinese New Year open house on the first day of the celebration, which falls on Feb 10. The open house will be held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching from 9am to 3pm. Then you can go and join in the fun and experience it.

The Sarawak government is looking into setting up a direct Kuching-Jeju Island air connectivity through the coming Sarawak airlines which is currently retaining the name MASWings. This means that the route will by-pass Kuala Lumpur or Kota Kinabalu, which is a norm for anyone currently wanting to go from Kuching to Jeju Island.
