good job in trying the various fruits that is available here! the jackfruit that you mention is not called jackfruit. The locals called it cempedak. They look really similar so it can be confusing sometimes. You can deep fry the cempedak like a fritter while you can't with the jackfruit. Recently in kuching some supermarkets start selling jackfruit in containers, so you can give it try. For the guava, there are 2 types. White and pink. So the one you bought is the white one and it doesn't turn pink.

생긴것 때문에 그간 지나쳐왔었는데 이젠 보일때마다 한봉다리씩 사서 냉장고에 넣어놔야겠어요 ㅎㅎ
