The narrative keeps falling into place around Brooke and Thorne. First it was Bridget suddenly deciding to accept their relationship, then Kimberly, then Ridge, and now Eric. It's as if every character who was representing the "other narrative" (Brooke and Thorne _not_ being a true love story) is letting go of that narrative, one by one, and falls in line behind Brooke and Thorne's version of the truth. And not for any particular reason - there is no real resolution of the problems at the core of Brooke and Thorne's relationship - but simply because the writers now want to end the storyline quickly, with Brooke as the "winner."

If everyone accepts it, Eric can't really stop them. Maybe Stephanie's recent reveal ) also might make Eric reconsider that there are worse things than Brooke and Thorne getting married. He doesn't know yet that the baby is dead, or does he? Eric might fear that the magazines will go from writing about the perfect TRIDGE family, to writing about his son Ridge betraying his wife Taylor by fathering a child with his ex Morgan/ one of FC's designers.

In a way, I feel bad for Morgan. A child she wanted so badly was lost, and Stephanie pretty much tells her she deserved it. Then again, this is also karma for Morgan: what goes around comes around. She manipulates, tricks and pushes boundaries. She closes doors to opportunities including when Stephanie offered to set up a trust fund and leave town or when Clarke offered to help father the child. Then, she tries to "mend" her "friendship" with Taylor at the moment Taylor is angry. What does Morgan want? By not clearly defining this and not doing what's best for the baby (leaving town; avoiding Taylor), she suffered consequences.

Morgan should have left town after her scheme, when it was clear that Ridge didn't really want her in his and his wife's orbit. She could have had her child and raised it as a single mom. Instead she wanted either some strange kind of patchwork family with TRIDGE acting as godparents - or even worse, hoped that Ridge would leave his wife and his 3 kids to be with Morgan and their kid.

Ridge's hair color is too black. He lost his beauty in 1998.

Interesting that we never saw Morgan delievering a dead baby, unlike Amber with her baby with Rick. Seems like they left the door open for it to be revealed that Stepanie or someone else gave the baby for adoption, but then when they saw the actress is no Kimberlin Brown, they decided to leave it as a dead baby and the actress left or was fired several months later. I think Sarah Buxton is better as a sexy vixen naughty fun girl. She isn't so good in this role as Morgan, not a good casting. Kimberlin Brown in 2002 was great, we're getting closer, those episodes should be here during early 2025.

Taylor is such a renowned psychiatrist and couldn't see all the classic signs that Morgan is mentally unstable. Yet again, Taylor isn't accepting her ownership in this situation. Stephanie told Ridge and Taylor that Morgan was unstable and to get her out of their lives. Oh, no Taylor wanted to be her best friend and wanted Ridge to help emotionally support Morgan too. Not to mention the blatant, delusional, and over the top hypocrisy, Taylor keeps throwing at Stephanie and Ridge.

Eric is and was an absolute laughingstock. He may be an extraordinary designer without whom the House of Forrester would not have had its success, but in terms of family and business he is a failure.
