Bohemian waxwings, Welwyn Garden City - 17th January 2024
The first of two videos of this large flock of waxwings which were feeding around an industrial area in Welwyn Garden City for a week in mid-January. I counted about 90 birds at one point. The light was poor on 17th and the birds could only really be filmed when they came down low to feed on rowan berries against the blue backdrop of one of the industrial units.
