These are great, I would add the little things that only have meaning to me. I suppose it takes a different path for each person. But it's not a scrapbook or diary. It's a journal for life's journey. I believe a great example would be. Dinner with a friend you could save a napkin or possibly write down your orders in side and date it, or a ticket from the subway where something amazing happened or what thoughts you had. I'm always saving something to remind me of moments that meant something extra special to me.

I love how emotional she gets while talking about the journals...obviously she truly love and enjoy what she's doing...and that's what matters the most...

These journals of yours are the most beautiful I have ever seen. The purple one speaks to my soul. Visually it is amazing and fabulous (and was my favorite when you first showed the lineup). It speaks to my heart because my sister's favorite color was purple, she loved bohemian style, and she passed away 7 years ago, and I feel as if I am still seeking her. I am teary eyed writing this. I know it will go to some lucky person, and I imagine and hope they will cherish it. I wish you much luck with your move and being on your own. I also wish happiness in your schooling and career.

TheEllaDarling I think they are so cool, but I would want one that looks like these, but that one could actually use as a current journal, That's what I thought they would be, but then I was like, where would one write in them? too much clutter, but they are so so cool. just more pages to write and draw on, but then I would feel like I would be ruining the cool books. OMGosh!...the materials! Absolutely grand! Professionally created. Enchanting stories. One can easily see that each and every page has been lovingly stitched together with the best of care! It must have taken a long time to gather such a collection of authentic pieces. Love all of the charms and coins, crystals etc! Any woman would cherish one of these pieces!!

I love the beautiful ideas, I love how your telling someone's story, without directly telling it, like a fan fiction created into an art piece, rather then a piece of bland writing. I do love reading fan fiction, but I love coming across something different and visually stunning. I get what you mean about learning about war but Its important to learn so we understand the atrocities of war and don't repeat and make the same mistakes. This is my first time seeing your bohemian journals and I have never seen anything so beautiful and actually created with a story. I love them all but I have to say the last one is my favorite and it's because of the tip in with the beautiful fabric. You have so much talent and I'm sure it's going to take you someplace big. Nazy you have outdone yourself. I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing your story and putting so much into these journals. I'm so glad you have continued your healing through journal making. I have very similar fabric and I also sew on to my journals but since I've seen your journals I've avoided posting them online because I don't want to offend anyone about style. But I want you know I totally am with you about how AMAZING these fabrics feel and how much charm they add :) Yes to classes. Yes TO ALL. do it! and also.... remember that asking for help is a strong thing to do. It shows strength. Not weakness. It's lovely to want to be independent and honor our parents but it also important to take care of our hearts and be gentle with ourselves. Take charge of your life but also be nice to you.

Hi I am a new subscriber. I recently have been watching all kinds of Junk Journal, etc videos. This video came up in my feed today and I was completely taken by your thumb nail. I couldn't wait to watch. I have loved the bohemian style since I was a teenager back in the late 70s. I have to say, you are extremely talented!! It is awesome that you are going to art and design school. I had been excepted to the Art Institute of Colorado, back in 1983, but never went. The fabrics are so gorgeous! Love them all. I have always been drawn to Indian and middle Eastern fabrics and patterns. I would have to say the purple journal is my favorite, but they truly all are breath taking! I can't wait to see more of your creations.Congratulations on the sale of all the journals. I am not all at surprised they sold so fast. Absolutely stunning!!! Yes, please teach classes. You’ve already got the creativity, knowledge and inner knowing to make the most gorgeous journals I’ve ever seen. I’m all for school and expanding our knowledge, but I’d say that without those school classes even, you could teach any teacher who has been at it for years using books and “proper techniques” what it really takes with inner knowing, intuition and a spiritual maturity to make the journals from the heart, not from book knowledge. You’ve got a sweetness about you, a great teaching voice and experience to blow everyone away and hopefully make a good wage to pay your rent and bills with a lot left over doing something that thrills you each time you sit down to do a junk journal. I’d say you’ve got it made. Congrats on being chosen to teach. You will blow everyone away in so many ways Dear One. ✨🧚🏽‍♀️🌙

That is a lot of money but looking at the love and work that must have gone into them it doesn't seem near enough.

No kidding....pink, purple and blue have always been MY favorites since I was little! All of my backpacking gear now as a 38 year old is pink purple and blue.

I would absolutely love to see one of these after someone gets it and decides to fill it out, continuing the essence of the stories you have created and bring it to life as a continuation of the wonderful imagination that went into this! I think these would make amazing baby albums. The passport could be about them and then you can add pieces of clothing they used to wear and write down your hopes and dreams in there that you have for them and add memories and quotes.

My favorite is the purple one because it was my Mother's favorite color, and my Father had a garnet ring that was passed on to him from his Father. Both of my parents who have both passed away in the last away two years. The story that goes with this book resonates within me on a very personal level. wow - not sure how i ended up here, but what a strange, strange, strange idea for a set of journals. i never would have thought to create a journal about someone else. you've given me some new ideas. it's weird, but i like it. i might have to make some of my own with stories i want to tell! they're all interesting. glad you sold them all.

Just one comment on the upside down pockets though - why did you make them upside down? it seems like it would be very easy for something important to fall out without the person even knowing until too late. even that fake letter you added could fall out and i'm sure people would be mad to lose any part of this journal if they bought it. it's a creative twist, but i don't think it's worth the risk - just because the way you carry the book makes it entirely possible that something like a piece of paper can easily slip out.

I just randomly stumbled across this video and have to say, Im so damn impressed. You are so talented and the stories, details and journey you have created with each journal is so incredible. You have thought about so many facets of the story you are trying to tell and each get the message across so well!
