Knowing Bogdan well, I can tell this happened only and only due to a long period of un-acknowledgment. First half of the season Bogi was benched. And here is where the Hawks are, at the bottom of the top 10 in the East. And here is also how they play when he is in full form - in a winning mode! They played well even the games they recently lost to stronger opponents and were on the brink of winning them all.

Yugoslavia gave people a sense of shared identity and a strong economy. Sure, things weren't perfect, but life for most Yugoslavs was pretty good with guaranteed jobs, healthcare, and education. Look at the economic struggles and ethnic tensions some of those countries face now, it's not all sunshine and roses. Tito's Yugoslavia wasn't without flaws, but it definitely had its benefits too. Americans, I want you to know something. Bogdan while playing in Serbian club called Partizan was under the guidance of Duško Vujošević and i still remember vividly one time he had altercation with opposing basketball player or with the judge of the match and he was acting bad meaning either wanted to fight them or said something bad. Then legendary coach Duško(he is still alive and srly is one of greats for his accomplishments) pulled Bogdan to himself and put his hands on the guys neck to recreate how it looked like and show Bogdan that trying to choke someone isn't part of basketball... He never again did something... Some european basketball news outlet on KZread always point that clip out but they don't know this context which makes poor Duško look crazy since they don't show Bogdans attitude back then... Mind you this coach went above and beyond for every player. Looked at them like their own family members, in press conferences he would always avoid controversial questions for his players by talking in his name... So don't let his "choke" move make the coach seems idiotic. Plus he didnt exactly choke him but was like: "Wtf are you doing u fool?!"

@@ZeroSilence8 i posted comment then KZread removed it. Just type: "Nevidjeno!!! Dusko Vujošević davi Bogdanovića" and the the first video you get will be the one... But also basically what happened he fouled one player snd refused to accept referees call for it then started arguing like in NBA players do and he got tech and got i think ejected and coach was furious and basically grabbed him onto his neck to sort of like tell him:"What the f* are you doing arguing?" He(Bogdan) then never again lost his temper in game and also coach was amazing he went above and beyond for players, all of them... In press conferences he would make sure media don't ask some controversial questions to his players but would grab the mic then and send them to locker room to answer in his name... Lot of great coaches in Europe do that stuff... Micić once got asked about Ukraine Russia war and that other coach(Ataman is the name) made sure he don't answer it... Because they might lose their job for those kind of questions.
