BOG Deathgrip 360 shooting chair pt.1/2 - unboxing and assembly
Thanks to the team at Sportsman Gun Centre (SGC), I’ve been able to borrow this excellent (heavyweight / very well built) rotating shooting chair, equipped with a fully adjustable articulated arm holding a BOG Ultralight gun clamp. Here in the first of two videos I unbox, assemble and explain how best to use it.
Coming soon is a longer part 2/2, where I demonstrate using it on one of my local barn permissions, then I take it to GARC and get the reactions and feedback from some of my fellow shooters.

Absolutely (fixed location, variable position = best of both worlds), as you'll see from part #2, one of the guys agreed this would be perfect if you're lucky enough to have a porch/decking position overlooking a large garden range. 🤓 Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ

It looks a good product. I have a BOG tripod. I'm a 76 yr old disabled shooter. I bench rest in my garden. This chair could be of benefit to me.

It could indeed. I've previously reviewed the Idleback shooting chair (Dec '17: www.flickr.com/photos/150760461@N07/albums/72157687648530141) and this is both more stable and easier to get on/off. It is a fair investment so I strongly suggest you check it out if you get chance at your local dealer. As you'll see from part #2/#2 each hinge of the articulated arm is lockable, and no need to hunch when shooting with this, as we often must while bench rest shooting. Thanks for watching, cheers. @William Tellhello i ended up going with the with the Amazon kill shot bench it's just a generic collapsible Chinese Steel bench and I ended up attaching some old backpack straps to it but it's perfect for club shooting and it solve the problem of the Fairweather shooters hogging the benches in the summer and rest of that I'm going to put towards bog tripod because then I can use it for stalking I would have liked the Idol back so I can have it all in one but unfortunately no more😞

I've reviewed the Idleback and for me the only advantage over this was that you can 'tread-in' the feet into soft ground. Otherwise I found this easier to get on/off and more comfortable when seated. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
