Boeing faces 10 more whistleblowers after two die: ‘People’s lives are at stake’

The sky is falling - at least on Boeing.
A second whistleblower has died under mysterious circumstances, just two months after another one allegedly shot himself in the head - and the attorneys for both men hope their deaths don’t scare away the at least 10 more whistleblowers who want the company to clean up its act. NY Post reporter Dana Kennedy shares this story.
Joshua Dean, 45, a former quality auditor at Spirit AeroSystems, which assembles fuselage sections for Boeing, died Tuesday morning from a fast-growing mystery infection.
Barnett, who had worked for Boeing for 32 years, was found dead in his Dodge Ram truck holding a silver pistol in his hand in the parking lot of his South Carolina hotel after he failed to show up for the second part of his testimony for a bombshell lawsuit against the company.

This is a common problem in the aerospace industry. People claiming the "company" does this or that, but in reality, individuals defraud the company from lower managerial jobs. The government requires companies to organize their engineering projects in a very managerial vertical team, using formal systems engineering principles (that is a pseudo-science). People at higher levels (systems engineers) are tasked with making technical decisions, their careers dependent on it, while people at lower levels (specialists) have the education/ability to spot problems with those decisions. The problem is people at higher levels have full employment authority over the people at lower levels, see any systems engineering textbooks, so every time specialists find a problem the SEs retaliate against them. This conflict of interest is built into formal system engineering. The more this is adopted into company process, the more corrupt the company is. Other industries have horizontal teams with less authority and no corruption.
