Bodycam: Wisconsin Woman Stabbed Boyfriend 19 Times with Scissors While He Slept

Ойын-сауық

Bodycam footage shows the disturbing moments when police responded to a 911 call about a woman stabbing her then-boyfriend while he slept. The Oshkosh Police Department said 22-year-old Morgan Taylor Lund told the victim she "had a dream" after he wrestled the weapon out of her hands. Lund was found guilty by the court after she pleaded no contest to charges of aggravated battery intending great bodily harm and second-degree recklessly endangering safety. The victim survived and promptly ended his relationship with Lund. Law&Crime's Elizabeth Millner breaks down the shocking story.

Morgan Taylor Lund was sentenced last year to seven years and six months in prison for stabbing her ex-boyfriend 19 times in his sleep. The defendant, Morgan Taylor Lund, 22, must also serve five years of extended supervision for the aggravated battery charge. After that, she must serve an additional five years of probation for second-degree recklessly endangering safety. Lund, who initially pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, claimed to be seeing some sort of "figure" for up to a year. The relationship had been contentious, with the ex-boyfriend alleging that Lund physically abused him, striking him on several occasions. They had a child and lived together, but they argued daily, and they ended the relationship one-to-two months before the stabbing.

I keep seeing this comment. 0:40 seconds in he says the medics are downstairs. Then twice it’s said after that they are almost there. Then at 1:36 the narrator says as he’s questioning her that they are downstairs working on the boyfriend and a portion of the audio and video is missing. It was said 4 times at the beginning of the video and no one listened to it and everyone is insulting an officer that was just doing his job because they only show one part of this huge interaction with multiple people and officers.

That doesn't sound normal but in my opinion it does sound very convenient and probably made up.)She doesn't sound all out of it, or like she is hallucinating. I think if it was for real she'd still be all messed up, and incoherent, probably still hallucinating, since it was only a few minutes before, that the whole thing happened. If she'd been hallucinating so badly just a few minutes ago would it have just suddenly stopped when the cops were there? I think that's doubtful. She'd probably still be going nuts and spazzing out.

@@TheOriginalNatalieM i’m not trying to defend anything I’m clearly stating the facts with law-enforcement. This is what they do. This is what they’re trained to do. They’re trying to play into the persons emotions in order to get as much information as possible. You have to sit there and do this, especially when you have a perpetrator somebody who is actually stab somebody like this, you have to get it fresh after it just happened in order to get the correct details because things could be forgotten things could be misconstrued, etc. I’m not taking any side what she did was obviously wrong but at the same time she’s clearly sick and possibly suffering from postpartum psychosis, which is where a woman actually ends up, harming herself other people or her children. If you knew anything about the law or anything about investigation, you would know that this is what law enforcement is trying to do when questioning any suspect.

Certain officers are trained in mental health emergency situations. Likely those officers were trained and properly kept the situation calm instead of escalating it. This is how officers SHOULD be trained and act! Less people will be killed by police if they are trained better! Remember the guy with autism sitting in the middle of the street with the knife that was shot by the cop? Remember the outrage by everyone then? That officer SHOULD have been better trained for mental health crisis like obviously these officers were.

I keep seeing this comment and it’s literally making me so mad. The victim isn’t even in the same room with the girl and the officer watching him question her like you said. I mean does not one person listen?
