This would have been so much better if the footage demoed the help and advice more, rather than showing the conversation between B and Omar. Like humour and joviality is great and all, but there wasn't all that much climbing filmed, and that's usually what beginners are looking to see.

Great vid! Especially enjoy the tip about hovering hands over the holds - will definitely start doing that for training. Thanks a lot!
Great video! I've been climbing for a few months now, and it's always good to relearn the fundamentals. I love your video style! Can you do a video on more advanced starting positions?
Love this! The double team works really well and the info is really well put across.
I have been climbing for 3 years, and yes, legs are extremely important. But I have heard people teaching saying that you only use hands for stabilization, while the real push is with the legs, and well.. I'm not 100% in agreement with that. It's also important to get some strength in fingers and arms, to avoid injuries and to keep stability in tough situations. Many times you hold on tiny holes, or pretty unstable positions, where your hands/arms suffer. Sometimes you have to lock your position to change your feet... or you hold the weight of your body for few seconds on your hands while you relocate the feet. Even if you do perfect feet move, you need some strength in your upper body. But yeah, normally beginners routes are not stressful for arms so I guess in that situation is right :) Great video guys, and really nice channel I have discovered here :)
I love your guys content ! I am looking to get back into climbing. This is just what I need :) Speedy recovery with ur knee!
Fourth video I watched and this is the one that gave me that "ohhhhh" moment of realisation. No more barn dooring for me! Going to smash a climb that has been taunting me for weeks TODAY.
Note for step #3 that core is what connects your hands to your feet (more accurately, your shoulders to your hips). Beginners usually won't have core muscles and won't be able to "hover their hand" over the next hold because they won't have that core connection between their hands and a solid base. They'll be swinging from hold to hold because that requires less (near zero) core strength.
Thank you guys! Well explained technique vids are super inspiring to us beginners. Can't wait to try it!
Great video guys! Thank you for the helpful instructions, can’t wait to hit the gym and put this into practice!
Very interesting to see another example over the body position and the techniques! Thanks for sharing! Greetings Tom
Awesome video. Thanks a lot. Beautifully explained and really enjoyed the green bag demo.
Was waiting for this video, you're going to get huge subs soon
I’m a beginner and I will definitely apply the tips on climbing on overhangs and using my hips and legs more. The way you were climbing on the overhang the first time, to show bad form, is me to a T. I pull way to much with my arms. So straighter arms and shifting my weight more with my legs.
Newbie climber here having a eureka moment watching the video. Superbly explained guys. Thanks a lot
Moar videos! Your guys' lessons are not only helpful, but also entertaining!
Extremely helpful thank you!
Are those spotted/polka dot (black and white) climbing holds on the wall at 4:42 into the video? Can I ask who makes those?
I love the personality that shines through in these episodes from all of the regular cast (B, Tom, Omar)!! Also, these informational videos are great, even for intermediate climbers who are a bit rusty on the fundamentals. Keep up the awesome content and I can't wait to see your guys' channel blow up. :)
Quite interesting tips here. I would add that if you want to think about body position, having and solid base, etc. you also have to think about having opened hips (and squatting. I feel like there's a lot of squatting involved in climbing, but it's so underrated). Also, when you're "diagonally climbing", your legs are involved, but also a good part of you core is. So yeah, stop obsessing about your biceps and train that core people (make those planks last!).
I saw the girl (sorry, forgot her name 4:24) in one of Eric Karlsson's videos. You should feature her more, she was so fun to watch ans had such a great sense of humor.

this video was really helpful! :) some of these technics I knew how they should be done, but sometimes not why or why they look like how they look like. e.g. the "try to focus on moving your feet before your arms" :D
This video is tight! I just had my third day of climbing. I started on Monday and just did a v3 for the first time out of a cave in the gym. I am definitely going going to start pushing my self up with my legs instead of muscling everything!
haha hips don't lie! Another great vid! Motivated to get back to the climbing gym now =p Keep it upppppp
Tremendous! I've just taken the sport up before the pandemic kicked in and these videos have been awesome during the lock down. Now my body needs to catch up with my enthusiasm for bouldering. Maybe a video about recovery/diet - but do you younger folks even bother with this? :)
Noice tut lads.

I feel alot of my weight on my hands when climbing overhangs even thou I try to put it on my feet with hips intro the wall , is that something to get used to for over hangs ?

@Jenny Chen: it might sound weird, but for me it worked to just try it, fail and fall. when I fell a few times while hanging in a horizontal, I realized that it won´t hurt and it is okay. to prevent my feet from slipping, I conciously press hard against the foot hold or pull hard on a heel hook while climbing a up side down boulder with good Hand holds, so i dont Need to concentrate on my Hands. maybe this helps you too :)
Bums me to say that the chalk bag doesn't represent your centre of mass. Imagine if you are horizontal across the wall your upper body would shift your centre of mass towards your head, but the chalk bag would still be attached to your waist. Great vid, thought!

A lot of fluff for about 1 minutes of actual content.
Who else is watching this after the apocalypse?
Why do all these videos have monotonous music running right through them? You have great content so you dont need that crap. A bit of music here and their but not constantly
A pity that the sound is lousy (music too loud), and that they play around so much (totally uninteresting, and just annoying). Like the beginning of the video. Just focus on the informative part guys and more people will love it.

kill the background music
Less talkin and more rockin would be awesome. The 5 demo's on the wall were good but 6 minutes of talk isn't giving us a lot of juice for the squeeze.
I would definitely watch these guys more often if they weren't so Paul Logany. They seem to know what they're talking about, but so irritating
the title card alone made me click "not interested"

I hate the term “barn dooring” because that is not how barn doors open. Barn doors open the way you should be climbing.
Guys, there are some good tips in here but you need to decide if you want to make a video about climbing technique or if you want to mess about on video. The messing about is fine if that is what the video is supposed to be about but if you are trying to pass on climbing tips then all the fluffing about your hair loss, pulling silly faces etc is perhaps amusing for you but not really for us and it just obscures the climbing content. You need to make really clear points and have the voice run over the video so that you instruct as we see the move i.e. at the same time. The audio instruction in these video clips is often disconnected to the video of the move / technique. Just do some more voice-over for the video of the move or tighten the edit so you overlap the audio from the 'to camera' interviews with the video of the move. There is about 1 minute of useful stuff in this video and the rest is just messing about by two guys who are nowhere near as funny as they think they are - but who clearly have a lot of good things to say about climbing technique etc.

Hard disagree. It's subjective.
The green bag has nothing to do with your center of mass actually.
