Can’t wait to get back in the gym and start saying “go on” in a British accent when I’m encouraging someone else on their climb

What region are they from? I can't place it, but some of their pronunciation of specific words is a bit unique.

I love how you encourage each other with ‘good effort’. It’s totally ok to fall! ✌🏼
Ohh it’s Jen! She’s taught me my first climbing lesson in Manchester some years back. Just as cool in person as she is in this video
I love how you encourage each other with ‘good effort’. It’s totally ok to fall!
Would love to see this but using these techniques to coach somebody up clbs they are struggling with. Just from a relatable standpoint as it really highlights the moves when the people doing them aren't way stronger than the grades they are climbing.
Opening up the hips to put more weight on the heel hook has helped me loads. Thank you guys!
@7:19 - I thought it was a mirror at first! The way you both fell at exactly the same time!
I'm a huge fan of how you formatted the on-screen text!
Really nice. I would like to see more videos on projecting!
Excellent video series. Thank you!
thanks guys! so ready to go to the gym now. really appreciate it and the effort you put into this. cheers
You're so British... I love it! Great advices, thanks
Great video. Really helpful for improving boulders. Thanks
Thank you for the tips guys!! Really helpful and in depth. I feel most videos just brush over the detail so found this really helpful
Some nice tips, thanks for sharing!
Needed this so badly. Thank you!!!!
Love this! Will use these tips tomorrow!
Nice to see more climbing and good problems.
This video is so good thank you for posting! I tried the projecting exercise yesterday and it worked really well. It gave structure to trying harder, rather just throwing myself at tons of problems and not really finishing them. I would normally give up after a few attempts and try something else if I can't do it but this was forcing me to work out all of the moves. I will incorporate this into my training for sure:) Thanks, guys!

Excellent video! Really liked the different tries with and without right technique
Amazing explanations with examples, instant sub !
You both do a nice job of explaining things to a beginner like me.
Great vid! Thank you!
It's fun to see them projecting at the end :)
Jen is really great!
Eliminates! I actually got so excited to go climbing to out this into practice😄 it sounds so fun.
Loved this video! Great explanations. Could you include the difficulty grade of each boulder problem?
Nice video!
As someone who is terrible at heel hooks this was so useful thank you.

What a nice and usefull video!! Great!!
Thank you very much for doing this video. It really helps me solve one of routes that frustrate me recently.
Really helpful video. Twisting is one area I really need to focus on so will take this advice. Thank you.
I learned a lot, thanks!

Go on!
By biggest problem on roof-climbing is my feet cut off a lot. Gonna try that twisting technique and see if it helps!
I am just getting back into climbing, and can work through some v3’s-v4’s. And they’re fun to figure out in pieces. But I tend to enjoy v2 and v1’s a lot more. Should I work on technique on lower grades and train my hangboard and kettlebells to get stronger? I just don’t want to injure myself messing about on a v4 when I can really hone technique and footwork on lower problems and try to get stronger by taking smaller grips and by working the board? Couple ideas I’ve had. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
Lowkey feel like twerking every time that intro beat hits
Would be great to live in the age of the olymic games of science. Where the winner is who reaches the game's set goals (in a given time). Anyhow! That would make science go crazy!
Finally!!!!!

Great video!! Your video made me go "Mannnn, I f'n love climbing" 💯
nice video, but you didn't actually explain how to use twisting technique. A more detalailed descpirtion on where to pay attention while doing it would be nice. eg. is is your opposite hand that goes up while twisting or how does it work?
nice to see the multiple attempts at working the same problem...
Very nice and informative watch. I just don't see those hooks and as a small climber they would be so useful 🙄

If nothing else the amount of weight you can take off your hands is super valuable, even if you already fit the box and are comfortable with a toe on, sometimes I find a heel let's me use much much smaller holds easier.
I thought i recognised this climbing centre, its depot climbing in Sheffield is it not? Makes sense with your accents anyway, really enjoyable video btw!

Random question...what are the trousers Josh is wearing?!?
Is the video part sponsored by Rab or is it just cold in the gym :D
@LatticeTraining

Yeah it's a typical Sheffield gym I'm afraid.... cold.... but great conditions :-D
where is this place ?
Is there a way to know which way to twist? Atm I generally just get up there and see what feels "right" but i don't know that's always best.
@awagner4646

When using this technique your knees should be pointing to the opposite side of where you want to grab the hold. So if you want to grab something with your right hand your knees should point to the left. This way your right shoulder is facing the wall and your arm is closer to the hold.
The floor seems very hard for a bouldering area, is it just me? We have that kind of floor in the roped climbing area of my gym.

They look like the same mats that are at The Depot in Nottingham which are absolutely fine to take a drop from the top of a 4m wall on

The depot, it’s sort of like the Starbucks of climbing gyms. Convenient, competent and utterly soulless 😂😂
So first of all great tips! Thanks for the good content. But there is one problem with this video. You are motivating each other in english, when the correct way to motivate someone who is climbig is either in french or japanese. Allez Allez XD
Great video :-) One bit of constructive feedback; when giving instructional information (i.e talking to camera), try removing all the fluff and filler words. It keeps it concise and adds gravity to the remaining words, increasing listeners ability to digest.
