Body of American Killed by Tribe Should Be Left on Island, Advocates Say

Weeks after American John Chau was believed to have been killed by a tribe on North Sentinel Island in the Bay of Bengal, his body remains there. Now advocates for the tribe are insisting his body be left alone. Survival International says isolated tribes don't have the immunity from diseases that outsiders carry and any attempt to remove Chau’s body could be fatal for the North Sentinelese people. InsideEdition.com's Mara Montalbano ( / maramontalbano ) has more. #InsideEdition

as a Christian myself, I think it's disrespectful to the tribe by trying to enter on their island and also forcing your religion and beliefs on others and also, they're most likely vulnerable to diseases that the modern world has built immunity too, the fact that they asked him to leave a few times is impressive and it's illegal of what he did, and they CLEARLY want to be left alone on the island, in my opinion, I feel bad for the parents for losing their child but, feeling entitled and having a saviour complex and a severe lack of respecting boundaries did cost him his life.

A man captured another pack of people in the tribe. He came again and again and again, but then he thought they were hopeless and weak. Later then people tried to be “nice” to them so they just went to their island anyways. The tribe doesn’t want anyone hurt again and no more outsiders to come AGAIN.
