Hold my old turnip that we found in the cupboard
I love how Pete’s just loving every second of the skit.
The angle of Kate's arms in that candle costume and Cecily singing about a flan that mysteriously appeared in her hands are the two of the funniest details in this sketch.

Watch VERY carefully in the bottom right corner of the screen at 5:14. They give it to her while they cut to the guy smoking watching soccer.
People who aren't from NY are describing a Bodega like a Deli there's a HUGEEE difference 😂 the Bodega Cat scene is accurate asf most of time the bodega owners didnt even buy the cat just showed up one day and stayed there it doesn't even have a name just BODEGA CAT 😂😂

This is a man who's obviously been in a terrible high school musical before and knows the drill.
How is it possible that they put a sketch like this together in 3 days?!?!? The sets, the props, the costumes, the music. It... just... boggles my mind.

Compulsory to life: Mulaney hosting SNL at least once a year & doing these musical parodies. Jeez. I wish I could be on the SNL writing team just for this purpose.

You probably could! The show doesn't hire funny writers anymore, most of Mulameys skits are decade old failed ideas! SNL just ran out of good ideas.
The production value when mulaney is involved is always amazing

John Mulaney’s bow tie falling off is everything 💀😂
I once experienced a gas station toilet that had a literal tree growing out of it, I didn't think anything could top that.
Did anyone else notice that the toilet paper in the bathroom, was folded? 😂 They let everything else go to h3ll but hey didnt forget to add a touch of class.
