I think that with a better coverage on the past Paralympic games in Japan have made for better promotion of this sport. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this one online here in Australia. Such an interesting game to watch.

well this is my first view of indoor Boccia and I wondered what the balls were like . I play outdoor on the rink lawn bowls and these guys were just magic. The guy in the wheel chair was at a disadvantage as he could not go look at the head like the other guy could.Possibly there is a camera above ? Anyway congrats and I'm hooked and would love to volunteer anytime to help out .

Hello :) That athlete with a blue vest is 59 years old and the disabled with a Muscular Dystrophy. He is a member of Korean National Boccia team now and he ranked 4th place in 2016 Rio Paralympic. :) Boccia is a very special Sport for the severely disabled.

@@wotomb Thank you for the reply .... I have played in the sand and a different feel . I am a director for a blind lawn bowler who has also been Australian champ and gone to the worlds and done well .He surprises me every time and he is living on his own and can cook a steak and do scrambled eggs and uses a GPS to walk the streets and has his own treadmill etc etc ... Could go on for ever and yes fantastic to see . hang in and keep smiling is the go.

What's the end result -- two for blue? I'm a boules (petanque) player. Very impressed by the play here.

sdrtcacgnrjrc Two for Blue. Our Scoring system is same with your Petanqe. After each end, the athlete, pair or team with the ball closest to the jack receive one point, and an additional point for every ball that is closer to the jack than the opponent’s. Thanks :)
