Mate, keep it up, you'll get there! I want to say that, in my opinion, lack of speed at any part is far from being the issue here; I'd even say you're rushing too much. I think you could go much slower throughout the whole song until you get used to it, (it's not a requirement, but a metronome could help, if you feel like you need one). Learning how to follow the tempo and making each and every note sound right is more important than being flashy at first. Focus on what the song wants to tell you, so once you get used to it, you can try speeding up gradually. Keep it up, I'm sure you'll make it!

@@Goosevich7912 I hate how common of a technique it is for how difficult it can be. Like God damnit, why does everything that sounds good require so much technicality? I feel like the only guitar technique that sounds good without having to devote significant effort and practice time to is power chords.

when practicing a solo like this u tend to get the speed down alot better if u do it all the same speed together, so u were playing at from 30% speed all the way up to 120% speed at some parts and maybe try using a metronome to slow it all down so that ur playing consistently 50% speed and work ur way up from there to 60% etc.

@@Goosevich7912 It shouldn't feel restrictive, at least to me. It should feel more foreign to try to do notes (you know like learning an instrument should) but if you feel that it's too cramped or too big, then it might be the wrong guitar. Try to find one that feels comfortable doing simple strumming to and see how it goes (after you learn how to do proper strumming first however). My current guitar i'm using to learn is the Ibanez Gio which feels very comfortable to me. Hard to play on because I'm only about 2 months in but it doesn't feel restrictive to me.
