Surfed here about twenty years ago. A fun place to visit. It's crazy that you guys drove there, what a wild journey. I scored Silverbacks pretty heavy. Only thing that bummed me out was how they dumped all their sewage right into the water. I dove off our back deck and watched as turds came flying out a PVC pipe right next to me. Gross. But a fun trip all and all.

Nice left break. You can't surf in Alaska. Come over to Australia and enjoy the beaches and breaks.
I went there too. Got really sick from vendor food. The begging dogs hanging around the stall should’ve warned me off , but I was really hungry😱 is that a 4x4 you have?

Lots of people doing a very similar trip in 2WD vehicles. 4x4 is not necessary, but the big difference for me is the ability to pull out onto the beach or the last 100 meters down a rocky trail to get to a nice campsite instead of having to camp next to the road.
Matt, how does a decent swell reach that part of the Caribbean? What and where is it generated from?

Just before I finished episode 68, my editing computer was destroyed and all my files were lost. Took a bit to get it sorted, but I got the computer fixed a few days ago and I'm starting over on episode 68 so probably another week or 2

I don't know of anyone doing fiberglass caps like this, but I know there is at least 1 company in southern california that does something kinda similar with the super thin aluminum siding. I'll get back to you with the company name if I can remember it :)
Did Matty have a break in. I saw his drivers side window with plastic over it? Just curious.

Yeah. It happened in Costa Rica, but they spotted it happening from a distance and the thief ran off without taking anything if I remember correctly.
Never visited the caribbean coast from Nicaragua only in the other southern countries!

Hopefully next week. I'm not keeping myself on a schedule anymore. It was too tough to edit after work each day and produce something on time that I was happy with. I know it's not ideal, but I was tired of rushing just to put something out and then wishing I had taken the time to do better editing.

@@kennethmarshall3174 Thanks Kenneth. I'm working on it. Unfortunately I was about done with the next episode when my computer was destroyed and no back up of the project, so just got my computer back from Apple and starting over on the project.
