I don't know, I particularly enjoy the fact that the episodes vary from the characters viewpoints. The episode about Linda finding a new job, Louise with her science project, Gene's baseball fiasco, Tina's decision to take a boy to the dance, and Bob's retreatment to the burger convention all have conflicting issues within them that creates a more equalized exposure than that of one who solely focuses on either the children , parents, or one entity. That is what I would deem as successful.

The show is weird and kinda gross, but in a creative way. Above all it’s very wholesome. I mean, I think a father would be justifiably weirded out if their son decided to become their mirror image. But it’s still very sweet. Weird but sweet. Granted if I had kids, I’d tell them not to do this.

Weird when I was born my Dad was like I HAVE NO SON THIS IS JUST A MISTAKE I CANT TAKE BACK. both Birthparents were alcoholics My Dad refused to sign Birth Certificate he was off Getting drunk at a bar and Mom was in Surgery having me removed because I was dying and Mom was not cooperating so the Doctors knocked her out and took her to an operating room . I was Dead for 5 minutes but somehow Doctors were able to get me breathing again. It lead me to go into a coma but I SURVIVED nobody can say there is no God when u realize what it took to bring u out of a coma , I can't believe I Managed to be funny as a Standup Comedian and im Learning to use a walker so I can walk again THAT IS A MIRACLE

Little Bob is great.

I think we can all agree this was the best part of the episode.

Bob saying "Linda you're encouraging him"(just the way he says it) and the "you're my family and I love you but your terrible you're all terrible" line followed by Bob's denial of saying that is the best.

y'all remember that episode where Bob buys a ring for her and the kids lose it in the water park place and in the end credits that woman's singing a song and Lin goes "my Bobby babyy"? it's adorable! this always reminds me of that scene

The bathroom scene was so clever, original, and hilarious! One of the best scenes of the whole series!

Bob: “Gene what are you doing here?” Gene: “They called me.” Bob: “No they called me.” 2:20

The initial conversation is one of the funniest moments in the entire show.

The "mhm" gene did to teddy was JUST like Bob 😂

I couldn't stop laughing at the bathroom bit.. I replayed it over and over until i wasn't hysterically laughing anymore.

I low-key liked that Bob got mad when Gene called Linda, Linn

I always end up in rolling-in-my-seat laughter when I hear, 'STOP FOLLOWING ME IN FRONT' no matter how many times I watch this episode. My husband how turns to look at me or calls me in the room in anticipation of my reaction to that line. 😂😂

I liked Tina’s parallel universe where Hugo was the father. “You’re my family and you’re wonderful.” Complete with socially shy Gene, teenager Tina with mild interest in boys and 🧟‍♀️ 🎥 don’t impress her, and little princess Louise. The last of which shocked the real Louise.

The son is like a mirror image. Also “I had my kids” I love that line.

“It’s okay, I’ve had my kids..” LMAOOO

That awkward moment when you're jealous of your own son but he's pretending to be you.
