We bought a brand new s770 in Sept of 2017 and it has never gone more than 6 weeks at a time without it going back to the dealer or the dealer coming up to work on it. We use it primarily to load and unload hay so it is never worked very hard. The machine itself is really nice in terms of responsive handling, good cab visibility, etc but we will never buy 1 again due to its extremely poor reliability. Several other farmers around me were considering buying bobcat but have changed their minds after seeing all the issues we have had with ours. Some issues we had for those interested are: multiple sensors going bad with the DEF/ emissions system causing the machine to only idle, ac malfunctioning (went to the dealer to be fixed 3 times and each time would only work for about a week afterwards) , hydraulic pump literally falling apart 3 times at around 500 hrs, and now at 1600 hours the lift and bucket cylinder seals are worn out. The boom will sink all the way to the ground in less than 10 min with a 1400lb bale. These are some of the issues we have had with our Bobcat s770 and have caused us to decide never to buy a Bobcat branded machine again.

Would love a response from someone that could help I’ve got the T66 R-series track machine with hand and foot controls (not pilot).. I’ve very upset with the way the food controls handle this year, when they were manual it was so much easier to control.. my main issue is the FLOAT control engages all the time and if I could just turn it off completely I’d be a lot happier and people would be a lot safer, it’s impossible to make nice movements (going down) with out the [float] just coming on at random. Can I turn [float] off completely?

Rides like a caddy . 8500 ibs machine lifts more and has more reach than cat 259d being 9000 lbs. 74 hp doosan engine has great power , quiter and better on fuel than my older t650 with kubota engine, visibility is great , heat and ac is great .

Basically copied what CAT has been doing for years. Torsion axle suspended u/c, air flow out the top and traditional inline mounted engine. The cast arms take away the ability to easily fix with welding like you can in a fabricated steel arm. All of this goes against what bobcat has designed and marketed as the best design in the industry in the past. Seems to be going against what they have been doing since their inception. What I see is Doosan has taken over and completely changed what people like about Bobcat.

Cast steel arms eh ? Lets put a hammer on the front and start jackn concrete and rock. Hows about a mulching head. Does it come with a free winch to go with the 6" of ground clearance ? Im sure when the bucket is full and the torsion bar flexes its going to drop to 3". Your engineers missed the concept of using tosion bars to raise the ground clearance. I would fire them all and hire American mechanics to redesign it. Good thing you didnt show the engine compartment im sure it would scare anybody trying to work on it, or just trying to change filters and oil. I am interested in the air ride seat though, might try to adapt that to my 05 pre global obama emission cock suck ASV. Your gonna need that 50% extra cooling capacity to try and get through a day of sucking dust and all kinds of crap through the back of the machine instead of blowing it away helping clean air through the top. Does it have the hippie piss def fluid system where one spec of dirt from the environment the machine works in shuts the whole motor down ?

@@dirtmover6190 If bobcat and CAT copied Kubota when it comes to the door they would lose a lot of customers. Kubotas doors loosen up with time and become VERY annoying with vibration. Glass falls out. Also, CAT and Bobcat have a very neat cab layout. Where as Kubota is very sloppy because they have the rail system for their door. Cat and Bobcat have everything laid out in front of the operator. I agree, they need to design an alternative. But not necessarily the same as Kubota.

Over priced, over censored, over computerized and prone to computer failure @ $2k a pop. As a 30 year owner of several models these are garbage designed to steal your profit on service calls specifically to dealers only. The dealers are no longer open Saturdays or after hours service needs, Mon-fri 8-5 only and no parts in stock.
