Bob transformed my life too...after watching the movie I found two ginger little cats from street... Now I'm happier... thank you Bob and James... Love from Brazil...

I have finished the book and is SO amazing. All happiness to James and Bob. Them deserve this.

I got James's book as a birthday gift from my best friend & while reading it, tears spattered over the pages as I was turning them but there was laughter too. He's got a beautiful meow-shaped heart and I'm so glad that he and Bob are getting what they so rightly deserve

How can people walk past without stroking Bob! I met them a few times when I worked in Covent Garden and sadly did not know about the book signing. I hope to meet them both again. Amazing story,restores faith in human nature,

I'm probably like the billionth comment here to say "I came here after reading the book" lol but wow I mean I knew James described the relationship between Bob and him very authentic...but seeing a actual video of the two and how they look at each other with so much love I now REALLY believe they are truly soulmates haha.

I just read the book and now I am watching this video ! This friendship is so special. You can be very proud James :)

I just finished the book - I was sorry it was over. Enjoyed it immensely. For people who think you are abusing Bob. I want them to think how lucky Bob is that he isn't left at home all by himself when you are out working (most days anyway) as other peoples cats are usually. As a result - most cats are not socialized, and do nothing but sleep all day. Think about who the abused one is.

Glad this video was shared. Watching I was just in tears. Thanks James for sharing your story. RIP Bob, You will be always in our hearts.

10 years after this film was made...and I'm just meeting Bob for the first time. I'm in love. What an amazing cat, what an amazing relationship. I was also blessed to love a feral cat and have him love me in return. There's just nothing like it. Rest in peace, Bob, you and James will certainly meet again as soul mates in this world or the next. Love you guys >^..^

This is lovely to watch, I've just read his book, and I was in tears reading the pages where Bob was ill/went missing. Its amazing how you can bond with an animal, I have a Rabbit and I've suffered with Depression on and off the past year and I enjoy my Rabbits company more than humans sometimes, least an animal gives you unconditional love and not abuse or anything negative. Bob and James are like James describes in his book, Soulmates. xD

I just watched "A Street Cat Named BOB" what a great story.

Haha, i feel sorry for James to have to repeat everything he says to strangers asking him. Nevertheless, i love the duo, they look sweet :)

I think the Bob Cat is utterly amazing, and what he has done for James Bowen is absolutely wonderful. I can completely understand Bowen's belief that he would not be where he was if not for Bob. I feel the same about my cats and my dog every single day. This is proof that one animal can make a huge difference in a person's life. All it takes is one purr, one soulful look. Animals know when they are needed, know when they are loved.

I red the book this noon, Bob is a great friend and the present of life, James is lucky with such a friend and leader :-). If you really love cats, they come to you. So I met my first cat Sheila a Birman (rip), she was for 18 years with us and gave us much fun and luck.

I had a cat just like that. His name was Stuart. All orange. You could position him around your neck like James does. Awfully sweet cats. At the vets, Stu would sit in one seat and I would sit in the other, waiting for the vet and never needed a lead. As we were not in a city or such and of course, came when I called him. I read the book and I believe this is amazing. Especially what is so amazing about the story is that James doesn't realize what a special person he himself not just in that cat's life but in people's thoughts learning from him about love, friendship, respect for each other and awareness for homeless people who are also left without love just because they are not able to receive some in some part of their lives just for any reason. I believe we should be able to give them some love.

Just read the book and after finnishing i had to check the videos immediately :) This cat is really amazing and reminds me a lot of my own cat - which looks quite similar to Bob, but female ;) She's maybe not that following, but i took her from another family which not really cared and had also to get her healthy again at first cause she had a really bad leg and needed hard medicin for two weeks. The first few days she never left my feet and followed me the whole time or slept near the heater. Now she is healthy again but loves to stay at home with me. She always gets afraid when a room is closed or she's sitting alone outside my flat. Since i'm a child i have an older male cat too and he has always been like a little baby, but they got used to each other meanwhile and now sleep side by side with me in bed :) such kind of cute! Think not many can really understand what it means when a cat "saved your life" but i do understand when it means the world to you that your cat shows you its whole love and trust, although they are in usual very independent. Wish you both all the best and a happy further time together!!

I'm just about done with this book, and I got to the part in the end where some Spanish speakers mentioned Bob being on KZread, now here I am. This is simply beautiful. Never before have I heard of a more brilliant story of true, real-life soul mates. It is so touching. I wish I could meet James and of course Bob. Now, off to finish up the reading!

Just finished reading the book, was skeptical to the book at first, but after reading it I changed my mind entirely, while Watership Down will be my favorite fantasy book, Bob and I will always be one of my favourite real story books, if I ever get to London myself I want to meet them both and just chat really, have a cat myself and the thought that I will one day lose her is driving me to tears even . I just can't imagine how it felt when his cat was scared off both times, Bob really saved him.
