ELVIS paid for JACKIEs medical bills and never took credit for it that a class act when you can do that, I worked in the music business for forty years out of my hometown of NASHVILLE and I saw the good and the bad,One story was about an x famous rock n roller who was down on his luck when he bummed a ride to NASHVILLE,The man I speak of had some great hits in the 60s but bad manager crooked promoters bookkeepers who run double books had stolen every dime this great entertainer had made ,when he died know-one claimed the body and he was buried in a paupers grave somewhere in middle Tennessee, A sad ending for a nice guy and hitmaker I never revealed his name then and I won't now I think he is owed that much respect,

Wonderful. One of my most special memories are of the night I saw Jackie Wilson perform at a club on Ocean Drive at Myrtle Beach. He was an incredible performer. I still enjoy listening to my CD's of his music. I was deeply saddened when his life was cut short. It was a true loss. So excited that he has a son who is bringing his special sound back.
