SGA would be the face of the franchise but Ballmer would probably do that trade again in a heartbeat because at the time PG and Kawhi were top 15 players with Kawhi coming off a championship and I think Paul George finished 3rd for MVP that year. But sadly for them the PG and Kawhi era is a massive failure and they are paying the price of giving up the farm to get those guys

The Clippers are screwed. They have no other choice but to run it back and pay James Harden and Paul George whatever they want in the summer. If one of them goes, then they might as well blow it up altogher. It's veryclear at their respective ages neither George or Harden are 1st options. Relying on an injure prone kawhi in the post season is another headache in itself . They have gambled away their future for these 3. Clipper fans are simply tired. I'd say let PJ tucker go in free agency and try sign either Precious Achiwa or Jalen Smith. They need another rebounding big. Ideally a younger one. Then give the main trio (Harden, George and Leonard) ONE more yearto prove themselves and pray the team remains healthy. If they don't win it, then trade all of them next season. Even if it's just 2nd round picks. No IFS or BUTS. They need to recoupe what they lost.
