Nets need to follow a Danny Ainge GM plan…trade everyone for picks/draft capital and young players who play hard. Did it successfully in Boston and again in Utah. Nets had a chance to do this when teams wanted to offer a lot for bridges, DFS, etc. Don’t overpay for Clax like you did Cam Johnson.

Yeah but mfers are gonna trade picks for a B.I, Murray or 🕷️ type of star watch. We can’t get that haul anymore because the way the season ended that sh** tanked their values so now we’re f**ked because Sean marks is such an idiot when it comes to roster construction and actually saving draft picks He can draft yeah sure but he’s terrible at everything else. We have a history of doing the same sh** everytime we have something good going. 2018-2019 we were looking good heading in the right direction we traded for stars with no championship success the same sh** happened when we traded JB and Tatum (picks) to Boston for them 3 bums We could literally be having a team of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen brown and Allen right now 😂 sh** is heartbreaking asf. Basically we could’ve been Boston right now but no we have an idiot for a GM. We will do it again bro just prepare y’all selves for the f**kery that sean marks does in 24-25 😤😫 Same sh** different season..

I’m surprised Bobby didn’t say the nets should rebuild. Around Cam Thomas . Cuz they don’t have much to work with except relinquishing or trading some players the other teams want. Plus, rookie head coach typically leads to a rebuild. Take Rokas and 4 #1 s from the Knicks and trade bridges to his boys and stop playing. Nets aren’t doing anything anytime soon.

Thomas is the guy they should build around not bridges

I am a Nets fan and I say if we build around Cam he will literally be Damian Lillard. Prolific scorer but a defensive liability. His playmaking has to improve WHICH HAS. But it needs to be better

Nets only goal should be trade Bridges to the Rockets so they could tank appropriately

Combo of different factors between the Play-ins starting / Nets being mediocre / Their season just ended / Its not outwright official just yet. Plenty of time this summer to talk about the Nets if you want, but they're pretty much gonna be running it back with them being right at the cap and no 1st or 2nd rounders. Theres lots more interesting teams lets face it 😅

When season started I was thinking that this team is going to be an easy top 6 in East. We had a such a solid team, but the way this team was run the last couple of years I'm not surprised with the outcome... The team needs true leadership, relying on Bridges to do that or god forbid Ben Simmons was utter mistake (or even keeping him in the team) trades we made mid-season made no sense, team is in desperate need of good coach and team leader but if they continue to lose players it won't matter

Man I’d just rebuild. Sign clax, Let KBD walk in Fa , trade bridges, cam Johnson, DFS, Schroeder & Ben and see what you can get for those guys and basically you have your identity- Cam Thomas, Clax & clowney are ya future 🤷🏾‍♂️

Sean Marks is waiting for the 2024/25 off season before making any major moves/decisions. So from now until then, don’t expect Brooklyn Nets to contend.

I'm fascinated to hear what the HOU offer was for Bridges. "Multiple firsts" can mean anything. Was it two picks in 2024 (weak draft class)? Did they actually give us the swaps back? If you get most/all of your picks back for him, tearing it down becomes real easy. DFS and Schroder have lots of value too. There's no way Marks will do that though. His time is running out

They need to unload Brick Simmons maybe do a buyout, as far as their next HC they need to go with a coach that has more experience than Steve Nash did and some of the other coaches mentioned in this video. I feel strongly that if I'm Brooklyn you go after Mike Budenholzer he a great defensive minded coach and has what it takes to lead a team, or Celtics assistant Sam Cassel he got a lot of experience coaching in the league but hasn't been offered an opportunity to be a full time coach but he been a great assistant coach for the Clippers and 76ers I think 🤔 but he would be a good addition to any team seeking a it's new HC. For honorable mention I would take a look at Spurs assistant former 76ers HC Brett Brown

This is Marks 9th year and he is still trying to create an identity?! I think he killed that dream when he traded away the future for the three old Celtics! There’s no one that’s a star…Bridges and Thomas are third option scorers plus they don’t play D, pass and are not team oriented. Whenever the team goes south, they both start padding the stats…and I like Bridges. Unfortunately, he’s gone from a great defensive player to scorer.

Nets going no where fast. They were worse than their record. Make a move for Trae Young or Donovan Mitchell so the team is at least fun to watch.

Sean Marks does not think an experienced head coach is important. Probably his biggest mistake. The Nets needed a defensive coach. They should have hired Mike Budenholzer. He may have told them no already. I don't see any change in the Nets level of play next season. They have the talent but no leadership or mentors. The owner needs to sell the franchise. He doesn't know what he is doing.

1:50 - WRONG!! There is no purpose in looking for the right coach when the GM, Sean Marks, simply wants a figurehead to oversee his small-ball roster. NONE OF THIS MATTERS IF SEAN MARKS STICKS WITH HIS BROKEN small-ball philosophy

Sounds like the coach is being set up to fail. Once he does fail he’ll be fired and probably won’t get another opportunity to be a head coach again.
