This song hits home and when I saw Carol Lee break down, I choked up. My mom is still living and when I was little she used to sing Rock of Ages to me at bed time. To this day I still tear up when I hear that song. I love you Mom

ROBERT LESTER LORD PASSED AWAY AT AGE 74 IN 2008, PURPORTEDLY FROM A VARIETY OF NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES. HE LOOKS TO BE IN HIS 70's HERE. HIS VOICE HELD UP WELL AS HE AGED, AS DID HIS HAIR, ASSUMING IT IS HIS. CLAUDE GRAY HAD A BIG HIT WITH THIS SONG. ONE OF MY FAVORITES BY BOBBY LORD IS "RAINBOW GIRL," AND HIS DUET WITH PATSY CLINE, "REMEMBER ME, I'M THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU", BEATS ALL! I NOTICED JEAN SHEPARD, GEORGE HAMILTON IV, AND BILLY WALKER ON STAGE.
