    Yeah. It was a five minute classic against jobber Steve Lombardi. Pedro Morales vs. Steve Lombardi Spectrum, 5/9/87 Dick Graham and Lord Alfred Hayes Morales goes after Lombardi and he bails. Lombardi gets back in and they lock up, then let go. More posturing and they lock up. Lombardi with a headlock. Lombardi bounces off the ropes and gets bodyslammed. Lombardi bails again. He gets back in the ring…and more posturing. Wow this match is boring. They lock up again and after some Lombardi right hands its Morales with an atomic drop. Lombardi bails yet again. Back in the ring and Lombardi with an eye rake. Lombardi works over Morales in the corner and is stomped. Lombardi chokes Morales with the bottom rope. Morales comes off the ropes and is clotheslined for 2. Morales comes back with right hands and a shot to the breadbasket. Off the ropes and Morales with a backdrop. Morales with a backbreaker and its 1-2-3. WINNER: Pedro Morales with a backbreaker at 5:44

    @Johnny Johnstone What happened was that he threw a rock through a window at a mcdonalds. The two cops showed up at his hotel room looking for a fight and got one. The two cops then panicked and made an emergency call for everything short of the national guard to come in. He got two years in prison because the cop looking for the fight was the daughter of someone important in law enforcement in the town. He didn't really beat up much of anybody. It was a 30 day kind of offense that got blown up into something way bigger.

    0:39 You are INCORRECT with your spelling and his quote. Heenan specifically stated, "when you ceased to not be productive any more." This makes perfect sense, as he was saying that Patera was no longer productive.

  • @4thandinches

    The story of Patera throwing a boulder through the McDonald's window, fighting the cops, and spending two years in prison, is intriguing. Patera said he should have only been fined for the incident, but due to an incompetent defense attorney, he served prison time as well. I think the incident probably left some lasting scars, by probably ruining Patera's marriage and wrestling career (even though he returned for a short while, but was never the same), and he is still bitter about it. Unless he is writing a book, he should have come clean and given the full details, instead of getting angry over it.

  • @stndrds79

    @stndrds79

    4thandinches no it sounds correct but it is not grammatically speaking dude. by definition the word cease means to stop, suspend. so when you say, you cease to NOT be, its a double negative. so when he said, "when you ceased to not be productive anymore..." the 'not" is a double negative in the sentence and it is gramatically incorrect. u are right about my spelling though thats my mistake...

  • @4thandinches

    stndrds79 Good point, and I was wrong. Ceased to be productive is correct, without the NOT, as I erroneously overlooked.
