    Bobby G is a surprisingly pleasant and eloquent interviewee with a good memory for the old days. He'd be great on a spoken word type tour.

    I saw them once at GLASGOW'S Barrowlands - 20 minutes and they smashed up their equipment. Great gig.

    Highly recommend Bobby's autobiography. He's got loads of great stories an recounts them well, very unpretentious guy.

    I agree. There are LOTS of music history bits, almost historical. It's a very generous survey of the culture via music, of the time. The cover photo (w/bike) is brilliant too.

    Wow ok so i saw this video come up about ten times in my recommended and always avoided it because I expected a miserable horror story but got quite the opposite and the added surprise of Ronnie Wood....     Never. Ronnie was a very nice guy and stories about his wilderness are heavily overblown. He is very quiet and polite man. Maybe used to drink and smoke too much.

    Ronnie Wood knows fuck all about what it means to be a great guitarist. William can convey more personality, edge and danger in a single chord than Ronnie could convey in a million boomer blues licks.

    A lot of people at these gigs thought they had to riot or they came to the gig expressly for that purpose. I saw them very early in their career in London and knew it would be wise to hang back a bit. Of course, being told to fuck off by the band didn't help matters. I still recall Bobby swinging his drum at a punter.
