A great chess player and also a great person, the President had Kissinger personally call him and pleaded with him to play Spassky, and later turned their back on him, I don't blame him for his comments about the US, I guess it's wrong to tell the truth,

Abcde Magnus (and every other modern player) is standing on the shoulders of those that came before him. I’m not saying Magnus is more talented. He just has the benefit of the advancements in chess theory that those like Fischer made.

Was a dangerous mind just for people weak, but in my opinion was a amazing mind, He could to win to anyboby, like Philidor,Lasker ,capabalnca, all wilekhine,Kasparov or Anand, simply the best. Fue un Mente peligrosa solo para los debiles, pero en mi opinion fue una mente asombrosa, el hubiera derrotado a cualquiera de los Campeones que han existido. simplemente el Mejor

Then he went on to play the game that mattered. And he didn't lose. Even if the Zionist pigs like to think so. He neither bent or broke.

@cigolone1 I know I think it's so dumb and I'm an American chess player myself. America has an unbelievable sense of self-entitlement. Bobby Fischer was a one-time fluke, a genius we were very lucky to have. He would've won the championship even if he had lived in Botswana. The achievements of one guy does not mean America itself is great at chess, although it's certainly not bad either. If we miraculously won the World Cup one day, we'd think we were the best at soccer too.

@Keith Alfred Anthony Donovan you don't need fide to say he's the world champion for him to be the world champion he was the best in the world by a lot and that's a lot more important than what some random organization says about him especially since it didn't even exist back then

The problem of chess is that you play every game from a fair position. In real life, you can't really handle it alone, no matter how clever you are. In chess, you start with the same pieces as your opponents. In life, if your daddy is rich you start with extra Queen... Fischer tried to play at odds and they distroyed him.

When Fischer was at his peak, he won 20 games in a row without a single loss! And they were against the best grandmasters around! This is absolutely unheard of. Its never been duplicated

Pretty awful video. 'Fischer could remember 1000 consecutive chess moves'? What's that all about? There's no such thing as 1000 consecutive chess moves. And the 'music' added nothing. Fischer was a great chess-player, but had serious issues as a human-being. So were no fault of his, some were. His final years were a great sadness.
