BOBBY DARIN: SPLISH SPLASH (MIKE DOUGLAS SHOW, 1970)

Музыка

here's Bobby rocking through Splish Splash in a July 1970 appearance on The Mike Douglas Show. I've left in the rather nice intro from Douglas as well.

BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT ALL THE WAY !!!! A REAL TIMELESS GEM, TOP SHELF. Bobby Darin in my book is the best ever entertainer that this world has ever had the opportunity to witness in our life time…. Bobby a multi-talented young man who taught himself to play many instruments like that piano, WOW !!... He really knew how to touch the lives of many, many people around the globe in his short life….. Bobby could really rock it out, had depth of heart, had depth of soul, warm rich vocals, emotional depth, charming, could be very cheeky at times, great timing, great comic, generous warm human being who helped others find their own star, and to top it all, was a great actor….. Bobby always gave 1,000 percent each and every time he performed, even in ill health that never stopped him from giving his all, the smallest detail was never ever over looked, this only endeared Bobby to his adoring fans around the globe….. Throughout Bobby's life he taught many life lessons and still does to this day…. Bobby helped to shake up the music business and helped to reshape it to what we know it as today….. Even the the best of them back in the day were so impressed by Bobby's work ethic and dedication that they just had to have him appear on their show….. Entertaining was so deeply embedded within Bobby's soul that he just had to share it with the world, man, oh, man did he ever and how…. Not only was Bobby loyal to his loving family and friends but also to his adoring fans, this set him apart from others, friendship and loyalty were second nature to him as breathing and entertaining... What a great legend, what a huge legacy Bobby left behind…… He had it all, he could do it all, doing it all in true Bobby Darin style as only Bobby knew how….. Bobby was the master of his own destiny looking toward the future though he knew life was going to be far too short, this only encouraged him even more to run faster and get things done his way and fast…… What a master genius of all time I feel in my opinion…. Bobby Darin still remains my hero since I was aged four in the mid 1950's…... THANKS FOR THE AWESOME PRECIOUS MEMORIES BOBBY YOUR LEGEND LIVES ON FOR GENERATIONS TO COME… BOBBY DARIN YOU STILL ROCKS THE WORLD…. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MY FRIEND….. YOU ARE LOVED, REMEMBERED AND NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN Thank you for your post…..
