I'm Colombian so I was blown away by the fact that Bobby revealed they're coming to Bogota for the second time, I saw them live the first time thanks to Rock Al Parque (Rock At The Park) and was such an amazing show, they just released their album a year ago called "Ironbound", I listened to that album all day before the show and it was absolutely awesome!

After hearing the comments about the song ESCAPE, I went back and re-listened to that song and that song alone. I am not fond of Lars’ drumming on it (it just gets too busy, like he’s trying to match James’ alternate picking going into each bridge). BUT…that being said…RIDE THE LIGHTNING is kind of my gateway record to Metallica.

Fully understand why you did not go to the Metallica stadium show. I hate big shows too but it was cool to see the Texas show in a theater here in germany yesterday. Great sound, no problems. Still love to go to small metal shows and Overkill were still fantastic on their last european tour. The album is the best since Ironbound. Great hooks and melodies. Thought about a thrash sixpack but can't do it because every thrash band has albums I don't like.

Did you like that last Sacred Reich album from a few years ago? I was hugely bummed out by it, waiting all that time for new Reich music and then getting this energy challenged, bland release. They better up their game on the next one. Absolutely love their early stuff - all of it!

I gotta say that i've been following all of you guys shit since the beginning and in the old days i was wondering why Eddie had a couple of "comedians" on that metal show. Anyway I've learned to like you all but it seems to me that Eddie is really getting full of himself, Don is still a douche and I love Jamison's skeptical opinions.....just sayin... and again, Pat Thralls best work was on 'Heat in the Street''- Pat Travers album it is up there with Montrose, Van Halen Ac/ Dc etc... best drummer ever at the time Tommy Aldridge. it was the BOMB in '78. U. F. O. changed my life on Don Kirshners ROCK CONCERT in ' '74 and that's all we had on TV once a week back then, so I love Ed's devotion to Schenker.......he;s still the best , just saw him a few months ago in St. Louis... BUT…that being said…RIDE THE LIGHTNING is kind of my gateway record to Metallica.
Fully understand why you did not go to the Metallica stadium show. I hate big shows too but it was cool to see the Texas show in a theater here in germany yesterday. Great sound, no problems. Still love to go to small metal shows and Overkill were still fantastic on their last european tour. The album is the best since Ironbound. Great hooks and melodies. Thought about a thrash sixpack but can't do it because every thrash band has albums I don't like.

Great show with Blitz. Keep up the great content. Metallica smart to put Overkill in the lot because they would have blown Metallica off the stage if they were on main stage.

Did you like that last Sacred Reich album from a few years ago? I was hugely bummed out by it, waiting all that time for new Reich music and then getting this energy challenged, bland release. They better up their game on the next one. Absolutely love their early stuff - all of it!

I gotta say that i've been following all of you guys shit since the beginning and in the old days i was wondering why Eddie had a couple of "comedians" on that metal show. Anyway I've learned to like you all but it seems to me that Eddie is really getting full of himself, Don is still a douche and I love Jamison's skeptical opinions.....just sayin... and again, Pat Thralls best work was on 'Heat in the Street''- Pat Travers album it is up there with Montrose, Van Halen Ac/ Dc etc... best drummer ever at the time Tommy Aldridge. it was the BOMB in '78. U. F. O. changed my life on Don Kirshners ROCK CONCERT in ' '74 and that's all we had on TV once a week back then, so I love Ed's devotion to Schenker.......he;s still the best , just saw him a few months ago in St. Louis... Bye the way, Thanks to Florentine years ago on that metal show i am addicted to ACCEPT- BLOOD OF THE NATIONS !!!!!!!ROCKS SUPER HARD !!!!!

My only problem with your nearly perfect show is Don's camera angle. We shouldn't be forced to look up the co-hosts nose for an hour every week. Can ya'll do something about that? Thx!
