Ironbound rejuvenated my interest in thrash metal. Its such a strong album from start to finish and the production is stellar. Its my fav Overkill album no doubt. Scorched is great too.

Yeah ironbound was a rebirth for overkill. That was my first time even hearing of them watching the music video for bring me the night. Went back and purchased every single record in their discography. The stuff from killbox 13 on is thier best stuff

His voice is unique His live performance is still great And the new album shows how senior metal dudes still kicks asses worldwide (I speak to you - boring Metallica) Underground and below is also one of my favourite album of Overkill I looked on Discogs what Colin Richardson produced in the past and its impressive

I've been an Overkill fan for 36 years, since I first heard Under The Influence. I've seen them 14 times. Each time, they thrashed hard. Great work ethic.

He looks good for his age. Most bands go down because of drugs and alcohol. Looks like he takes care of himself. Most big metalbands still going do not do drugs or alcohol anymore. Respect these guys. You are more creative when not under influence. I respect this band. 20 albums. Holy sh.t! God bless you guys.

The first thing that I notice is this vapor thing. I don't know if he used to be a smoker or not. But we all do respect, you have an incredible voice for that type of music. Don't ruined it with this vapor. We have enough people back tracking now. And I said this with the most respected.

I'll never say that Overkill are underappreciated cause it's wrong and to minimize the love of the fans would be dumb. but damn... You just can't give them enough credit when it comes to their contributions. Not just to metal but to music. Seriously. Love em or not, their story is inspiring and it's always an open book. Whether you're a fucking Ska band or a polka band or an everyday shit kicker out there on the Ave... This is how it's done. What more can you say that these guys set out to be like their favorite bands and today, they are right up there with them IMO. After 20 albums and 40 years, you've got the definition of a lifer and it's a beautiful thing.

Frankly, Ironbound was MY favorite until Scorched came out. Man! I'm not against change but always been a late adopter for new music, it always take me months to embrace a new album from my favorite bands. Here is the thing, maybe my hype was low due to what other bands have been throwing out recently, I wasn't even that excited when singles started coming out... But I loved this album since the first time listening to it and that is something I haven't experienced since Ironbound or The Years of Decay. At this moment, I can say without a doubt it's among their top 3 albums, let's see if time makes me keep that thought or if I'm just hyped right now.
