First off kevin Aucoin is known for the “structured look”. The sharp contour and overlined lips. The karsdashians made it more consumer friendly and now everyone wants that chiseled look because of them. So if they look horribble why does it bother u so much. I remember 15 years ago when Bobbi Brown was THE thing. Everyone wanted to look ultra natural... what happened? (yes I know, Kim K + her make up artist Mario Dedivanovic happened) To this day I still go with a mix of Bobbi's approach and korean's approach to make up and I don't feel like I'm missing anything at all by not contouring, baking and overdrawing my eyebrows. I tried a few times and it makes me look 10 years older than a natural look like the one above. I'll stick to the basics! ♥

The worst part is when you see yt guru tutorials in real life. Oh Lord it looks horrible and so heavy. 98% of makeup done by "gurus" is considered studio fx like because they use heavy lights etc. So when someone re creates a look you'll see all that nasty heavy contour and overlined lips. All these gurus use filters when selling us products it's just pathetic what's happened I'm all about polishing not masking and drawing a new face on my face lol

@Tina Yael Severinova M. The truth is no matter what makeup, aging gracefully is better than anything and focusing on who you are as a person is more important than any makeup. Besides no makeup can cover up a bad attitude or nature. So if one does find makeup that works for skin, then great!

Would love to see this look on someone older. The model has perfect skin and not one wrinkle in sight

That’s pretty young. My mom is 46 and doesn’t even wear makeup and looks good. When she does wear makeup, it goes on smoothly. Same with my gradma. So yea, it’s possible on women that are not 20.

That's pretty easy to do with a model who has a perfect face and perfect skin, you can do this with drugstore products. Do it on someone with bad skin and show the results 1 hour later...

I disagree with the idea that blush is the "anti-contour" since I personally like to use it to - you guessed it - _contour._ I don't have the most well-defined cheekbones and I like to apply blush in a way that gives my face a more chiseled look.
