    Robert is an excellent instructor. I checked with a number of instructors. With all the others, I had to buy the equipment without having a clue what to buy. To me this is the best way to learn. The main reason is? If I would butt land as I did. Any other motor than the Flat Top would've probably had damage. Then what? I would have had to stop training, order parts, drive home, once the parts came, make arrangement's with the instructor when to come back, and hope not to have another Boo Boo. Money out of my pocket. The way Fly High Paramotors does it, parts are out of his pocket. So I trusted him to train me correctly. Others? Who knows. It would have been my buck. I mucked up a couple landings and the Flat Top never gave a touch. Very strong machine. Others would have bent. And a student would sit down before lifting completely off? Other motor/cages would bust a prop. I am so very completely happy with the decision I made to come to Fly High Paramotors.

    Seen so many good launches on KZread videos. I plan on leaving the ground 1st time in around 11mnths. I wonder if knowing the theory of the perfect launch, will actually make the learning curve less severe, in practice. Guess i'll find out.

    Absolutely loved your training video. I am a sport pilot and fly trikes but have been thinking about learning powered paragliders because of the way they fly and their portability. One thing that worries me is wing collapses, I have seen some videos of wing collapses on youtube so my question is that with present day technology should one worry about the wing collapses?

  • @FlyHighParamotors

    @FlyHighParamotors

    7 жыл бұрын

    Newer wings are much more collapse resistant and as long as you fly in a good weather conditions the chances of a bad wing collapse is very slim.

  • @patrickmckowen2999

    @patrickmckowen2999

    Flown in the correct conditions, trained correctly with a modern wing you wont see a slim chance, all that aside- you will need 200 to 300 feet for that reserve to save you ....maybe... depending where you land. Cheers

    Nice Job. What kind of air filter is that on your Flat Top and what do you think of it? Happy 4th...

  • @FlyHighParamotors

    @FlyHighParamotors

    10 жыл бұрын

    The Filter is a 2.5" diameter cone filter bought from ebay. I install cone filters on all my motors as I don't want dust to get into my engine but if you take off the silencer box from your motor and put a cone filter on your motor it will be louder. As far as performance it seems to be better as it sucks in the cool air without the big silencer box restricting the air. Happy 4th to everyone also and don't let anyone take away our right that our founding fathers give to us. God bless America.
