I feel like people talk a lot about how calm and soothing Bob is, but it’s just as cool that because of that, these comment sections are so positive and happy. Every time I watch a vid (like basically every day, just to decompress) I scroll through the comments sometimes while listening to Bob. It’s even more heartwarming to read all the nice things everyone is saying down here.

If Bob would know how famous he got. Here in Germany so many many people want to see him painting! Unbelievable! I am watching every episode i can find and watch it severa times. His voice is so hearthwarming, if you know what I mean. I relly love just listening to him while I try to sleep. Pure relaxation :)

after he passed away Bob Ross was employed by god to paint all the beautiful sunsets for us :) everytime i see a beautiful sunrise/sunset/mountain etc... i think of him

Man Bob Ross was such an amazing and pure soul. I wish I could’ve met him at least once in my lifetime. He’s definitely flying high in heaven with the angels💙

His business Partners Screwed him in the End! Family hasn’t benefited $1 from his name since he passed.. Netflix special.. Its hard to support these folks but I love watching Bob!! Genuine People always get the Short end!! RIP BOB

In this first episode, he said "13 weeks". And here he is at 100 weeks. And he ended after 31 seasons. Complete legend.

Bob Ross; literally praising his viewers, wife, and television crew for reaching 100 episodes throughout 8 seasons. Glad that he did something new at the time of creation, just to go on and make 23 or so more seasons. This man was a legend the world was lucky to have, we desperately his "reincarnate" in today's world, as it stands in 2019

Man I sure do love the way he says "The Lay of the Land" .....like it's a title of a great book or something.... I remember watching him before I was 10 ....so like 84-85....I was lucky to be there in the beginning or close to it at least.

Mr Bob was a good man Blessed his heart that he have passed Missing him

He gets more wholesome every time i watch this

Everyone.. go to a store like hobby lobby or even walmart. Buy some cheep brushes and a canvas and follow along with Bob. You will be amazed at what talent is actually inside of you. I've done 15 paintings so far and each one gets better and better.

Not much of a painter, but I'm a musician. Bob Ross's inspiration truly spans all disciplines and art forms. He gave me the bravery test to put huge trees and the tasteful approach to put happy little ones in my music. Clouds too.

The show aired from 1983 to 1994. Season 8 aired in 1985 I believe.
